Outstanding meat platters with plenty of flavor and spice, and the grape leaves are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Highly recommend.

Service and food were both great at an affordable price. We skipped the appetizers and drinks but they have good options if you want to try including freshly squeezed juices. The entrees we ordered were also decent and came with a side of rice + soup. The highlight for me was the baklava that I ordered at the end along with strong coffee. Great experience overall .. certainly coming back.

Update 11/10 back for another dinner. We split a falafel wrap, grape leaves and chicken thigh entree. All very good.
First time here 10/10/21: I never knew this place was here. Wow, the food is great! The reviews are correct.

I always love my trip to Sinbad restaurant. They have very tasty grilled foods. The quantity and quality of food are great and the prices are economical too. Make sure you ask for well - cooked to ensure that charcoal smokey taste. What's more it's Halal. We love going to Sinbad on special occasions.

Lunch Time: The salad I ordered were good. But the family had a weird energy. It felt like I was ordering food in the middle of a married couples argument and they had to stop because I came in. Lol anyway the salad was good. I have been back there since and I ignore how weird the energy is in there.

I come here for lunch all the time! The food is really tasty everytime. I always get the lunch special because the deal is amazing and comes with lots of food. Definitely a must try if you're in the area

Awesome Halal food. The owner n chef guy is nice. Cleanliness 👍.. The only criticism is the gratuity on the bill... However the owner guy took care of it.

Best restaurant in New Jersey. The owner is very friendly, and he has a passion for good food. The meatball soup is my favorite thing on the menue.

This place was practically opposite our hotel, and to be honest, the way it looked from the outside didn't inspire confidence. Inside, there are football (soccer) scarves from various national squads and famous football teams, which again didn't really set the right note for me. But I asked one of the receptionists at the hotel and he said the food was good, so... off we went. And I'm so glad we did. We went twice. What a letdown!!!
Despite being there a long while ago and was very disappointed, my wife said they might have changed, because the reviews were ok.

This time, there were two tables about to finish, so virtually, we were the only customers to be served. The waitress was polite and was on time to take our order.

The soup was watery weak and barely warm. The wraps were sloppy and the fries were cold.

When we asked for some vinegar, the waitress came back and said "the chef said we ran out".

I still tipped over 20% because the waitress was very nice.

Pretty ordinary. Lunch special-- highlight is the appetizers. Shawarma comes with some gristly meat and a pile of rice that tastes like it is from a mile x-- not homemade. Soup is good. We usually go to Giovanni's a Deli when in the area and will return there.

Cheap food.i order first time Philly cheese steak grape leaves, chicken Cesar salad . Honestly food quality is worse. Not recommend. Will never order.

Delivery was on time and food was hot.

The lentil soup was different than I'm used to yet delicious. It wasn't as thick as other Mediterranean places, it was lighter but flavorful.

The grape leaves were plentiful, just needed more filling I think.

Still feeling the love at Sinbad Cafe in Secaucus NJ. They've got an 80's jam on, "Make This Man a Better Man," Beatles, Bee Gees, tunes just make me happy. Sitting amidst faux columns evoking a warm cozy club feel. There are soccer team scarves posted on the walls and a TV for sports fans. Food is straightforward, fresh, properly spiced. I had lunch special with salad, meatball soup and beef kofta kebab with yellow rice. Confident, pleasant staff are helpful throughout the meal.

First of All.. They DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE A SHAWARMA SANDWICH... They are such a Disgrace on the name of the restaurant..!
Second... They gave me a Cold Sandwich with Wattery... Soggy... Tasteless Filling inside the wrap....
Third... I requested for a Full Portion of French Fries... And Just gave me not even half of it..!
Requested for Hot Sauce... They Just threw some Ketchup in the Bag...!
I dont have an Option to Give a 0 Star.. Or Else I would have given...!

We recently catered a 60 person party using this restaurant for the first time.
The food arrived hot, on time and tasted delicious. Our guests loved it.
I recommend this place very highly.

As someone who is from a mediterranean country, i loved the food in here! I was very surprised to see that food tastes almost the same as in my country. Small friendly, cozy, clean restaurant. I loved the soup especially, would recommend it.

I was coming back from shopping and its name attracts me. After checking the reviews on yelp, I decided to have a try. I got chicken kababs platter which comes with rice. It tastes good but chicken was very oily. On the way back home, its oil was leaked from the box into the plastic bag. But it was filling for one.

I like Mediterranean food but this will not be my go to place.

Good deal for lunch special. 8.99 lunch special from 11:30-3:30 you pick Two from appetizer such as lentil or meatball soup, House salad or your choice of hummus or baba gnoush. You then have have 5 or 6 lunch choices being shawarma, kabob and I believe a gyro option ( chicken and lamb options). For the amount of food not a bad deal. My husband enjoyed the hummus and he hates hummus. I enjoyed my lentil soup, meatball soup that my husband ordered not so much. It seemed like a bowl of marinara with meatballs. We ordered $60 worth of take out last night centered around what we thought would be outstanding falafel and lamb kebab. The lamb was severely over-cooked , lacked any kind of seasoning and it was dry and nasty. I was so very disappointed as we had invited a special guest to sample your food.

I visited the restaurant and enjoyed a lamb wrap weeks ago which was cooked to perfection. But this is so disappointing. I also ordered a Lamb wrap last night without tahini sauce. The same dry morsels of lamb were in the wrap and it included the sauce specifically stated that I did not want. Therefore

My fiance's parents were in from out of town and staying at the hotel across the street so we decided to meet here for breakfast. My fiance said that he has carried out breakfast from here before, but this was my first time here.

The prices are extremely reasonable for their breakfast, a breakfast sandwich with bacon eggs and cheese is around $3.00. My fiance ordered BEC, I ordered TBEC and his parents both had over easy eggs and toast. You get to choose the bread for you sandwich and we both of us got our sandwiches on kaiser rolls. Came in for lunch and they have some good lunch specials! It's a cute little restaurant and the service was super quick and friendly. You can't go wrong with some chicken shawarma (except spelling it) which comes with some rice and choice of 2 sides (got to make one the hummus with pita!)
