Our staff is courteous and understanding. Our services are handled with dignity and respect. If you are not completely satisfied with any of our services we will reduce or eliminate the charge. We are the only funeral home in the area to offer this guarantee. Funeral and Cremation costs can be very confusing.
Anyone shopping for a cremation needs to ask this question. If every crematory operated with high standards, would there be periodic news stories about law enforcement shutting down crematories for inhumane conduct? If I could give Cunningham Turch a 10+ star rating I definitely would. The quality of service the CT staff provided for my mom’s funeral was beyond EXCEPTIONAL!! From the planning through the end of the interment service Gary was there every step of the way guiding my family on what needed to be done and walking us through on what was going on. And during my mother’s viewing so many guests complimented us on how nice the facility was, how sweet the memorial tributes were, how beautiful the photo collage video was and so much more. They have provided outstanding service during such difficult time. I knew right away that we would go through Cunningham Turch the very first time when I heard Brenda's voice on the phone. Her empathy is beyond this earth and comforted us throughout the process. Gary was amazing and patient and just very strong in what he does. It takes a huge courage and patience for the job they do. The entire staff was extremely kind and and welcoming of different religious process we had to follow. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Kyle Nipper, of Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, handled everything for my daughter’s funeral and burial at Arlington National Cemetery. Kyle went above and beyond our expectations; he is a compassionate, loving, kind and EXTREMELY knowledgeable professional. A Military burial is very unique and both Kyle and Dennis addressed the finest details of a difficult experience with genuinely sincere care and attention.

My brother passed away recently and we called around and found Cunningham Turch. As a long time Alexandrian I have seen this facility for years but never have had occasion to use it or visit. It was a very pleasant surprise to find a beautiful establishment and wonderful staff ready to assist us through this difficult process. I cannot say enough about their kindness and how they made everything feel special for his family. They seem to be able to accommodate any budget and still provide you and your loved one with a dignified and beautiful ceremony. Our family was very pleased.

I am writing this review in appreciation for all that your staff did to make the passing of my loved one a wonderful experience. First, my family was not local to VA and when our uncle passed we had no one to direct us. My cousin visited two other businesses prior to entering your establishment when she arrived from TN. Your staff (Kyle) was so understanding and although we didn't know what my uncle had available, he began immediately helping her figure out where to start. As I stated the entire staff was professional and the day of the funeral at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park became a memorable

Definitely a FIVE STAR operation. Gary Maxwell runs a top flight organization. Gary, Brenda, Dennis and Kyle manage to be warm and friendly without losing dignity. That’s an achievement in this world of too casual and disrespectful vs snooty and officious. One of the best things they did for us was a last minute change, pulled off with finesse. No extra charge or even a moment’s pause. PLUS, the family having opted to not have a visitation before the funeral, I personally wanted to see my Dad. I thought I’d be in some dimly lighted side room to say goodbye-bye. They asked me to wait a moment

The Cunningham Turch funeral home is illegally requiring families to be present when they order an online casket. The family ordered an online casket because the price are thousands less than the price at the… funeral home. The funerlal home only had a few to pick from and they had 650 to pick from online. Shop online for your casket before visiting the funeral home.

We had a great experience and my whole family agrees that Krislyn was wonderful and a great help. She was sympathetic and kind from the beginning and made everything easy for us. She was always easy to contact… and handled all of our requests in a timely and efficient manner. We appreciated that she was helpful yet did not pressure us into anything out of our budget. We would recommend her to anyone!

Words can't express our sincere appreciation for Cunningham and Turch Funeral Home. Mr. Michael Turch and his staff's attention to little details made a huge impression on our family. The thoughtful and… professional care of our aunt will never be forgotten. They have exceeded far beyond our expectations. We will cherish the unique/beautiful memory flip cards, the special funeral procession given to our aunt in the Harley Hearse and farewell journey to the cemetery in the Horse drawn hearse carriage.
