Yummmm! Pizza was the best we have had in the Arlington area, hands down. And we have been looking...a lot. We also tried the meatballs which, typically disappointing elsewhere, were also excellent. We also got the Tiramisu and Panna Cotta. Tiramisu was great, Panna Cotta was the best I have ever had. Anywhere. Small serving and was literally scraping the bowl at the end. We are really eager to try their pasta because if our initial experience is any indication, we hope for another home-run.

Food is really excellent! Very authentic Italian, and the pizza dough has the most perfect crispy exterior and nice chewy interior. The service is very professional and efficient. Our server in particular was very sweet. It's good for takeout but also sitting down, as they created a nice lovely setting in there with the a full bar. Highly recommend!

I have gone to Modo Mio for Happy Hour three times. I have ordered the mussels which are quite good and have also ordered the HH margarita pizza which is decent. Most HH choices are $10.00 each, a reasonable price.
I generally order a draft beer advertised at $4.00 and prefer the IPA listed on their menu but which, over three visits, they curiously never have? So they offer a substitute draft beer which I agree to have.
So when the bill arrives, the draft beer charge is $5.00. Now, one dollar extra is no big deal, but I ask the waiter if there is price error or why the upcharge for a comparable

There's one thing that impacts my opinion of a restaurant more heavily than the quality of the food, and that's consistency. Our first visit to A Modo Mio was very good. We were a party of 7 and between us had bolognese, pesto gnocchi, vegetarian lasagna, cocktails, wine, desserts. Second visit was to go and also the time I was struck by how high their prices are, especially upon seeing how small the portions were upon arriving home. While only a ten minute drive, the food was cold. Not one to give up, I went once more to eat dinner in and the service, while pleasant, was terribly slow

Went there with a group the other nite. Sat outside and it was totally comfortable with the heaters. First of all, my absolute favorite Italian white was on the menu! Never seen it anywhere- Janare Falanghina. Everything we ordered looked and tasted fab: Several pizzas, the minestrone, and the Pompeii Salads. Food came out quickly. Nice portions and everything super fresh. Can’t wait to return!

If I could give this place more stars, I would. I'm the building that was formerly Joe's pizza and pasta and buffet of diarrhea-inducing blasphemous violence disguised as Italian food, A Modo Mio is a more than welcome addition to North Arlington. They have authentic Italian food and an authentic Italian chef, a full bar, and the best Neopolitan pizza around (better than pizzeria orso)! Excellent, attentive servers. Dine in if you can, but delivery is good too. My Italian sister-in-law was impressed, I bet you will be too.

I stopped by on my break, and I'm so glad I did. had a personal size pizza, it took less than 10 minutes, and it's the best pizza I've had in so long. The pizza crust is perfect and the sauce is probably the best I've ever tasted on a pizza. Staff is friendly too. I'm probably going to try something new from the menu every time I'm in the area.

Great service and terrific food. Wanted to try the newly reinvented Joe's Pizza & Pasta and it didn't disappoint. Sat at the bar and the bartender made a good cocktail, gave us fresh bread and olive oil before dinner and was very professional and gracious. The pizza was fantastic. For anyone local, the pizza is a perfect combination of Pupatella and Pizzeria Orso.

Food was great. We had a pizza, pastas and appetizer.. all delicious and you get a lot for what you pay. The server was nice but the only issue was there were only 2 serving the entire hall and outside dining, which of course was not enough and caused longer than usual waiting anytime you need anything.

We ordered takeout from this place for the first time. We ordered two types of gnocchi, focaccia bread, and tiramisu. The gnocchi was so rich and flavorful, and we ended up having leftovers. The focaccia bread came in a pizza box, there was plenty! I had two drawbacks, one was that we didn't receive any Parmesan to top off the gnocchi. I thought this would be standard but it wasn't and I'm Ute I could have asked for it if I knew. The other negative was that the tiramisu had completely melted on its way to us since it was a hot summer day and the tiramisu was on top of the fresh and

Yum! What a wonderful experience.
Now, a bottle of wine, a the burrata I fungi, the lasagna vegetariana, the cheesecake and a book ended meal with a frangelico and you must know that the review was going to be good and a little imbibed.
My counterpart had the gnocchi and we both were super impressed.
Yum, the whole way down.
Now, the thing I like best is that we both are VERY good cooks and found ourselves really impressed with the whole meal. Well done :)
Awesome service. Great food. Great stuff treatment. Would definitely come back next time we're in DC. THANK YOU!

I went in with low expectations but I have to say the food was much better than I thought it would be!
Because the food was great, I can't complain about their service. Service could use some improvement but it's ok.
Definitely recommend to those who love Puputella...this place is just as good and less wait! Food comes out pretty quick after ordering.

Cyndy's Bottom Line: Delicious authentic Italian fare in a friendly inviting atmosphere.
*Walk ins welcomed
*Reservations online & waitlist to join.
*Takeout or delivery
*Dine in or outside
On our first visit we wanted Italian food and stopped in without reservations. Not a problem walk ins are welcomed.
There is a great selection of Italian cuisine, desserts
and wines. Most of the dishes are made in house daily.
This is what we ate:
*Complimentary basket of bread with olive oil
*Burrata e Funghi - decadent creamy burrata served with a medley of tasty mushrooms.
*Lasagna Bolognese

I was extremely underwhelmed by the pasta I received today . The sauce lacks any depth of flavor and for 19.00 an entree, come on guys, throw in a slice of garlic bread. If you want bread, you're gonna have to pay 5.00 for the Focaccia.
The meatballs were mealy, lacked any tooth when you bit into it.
The reason why I gave two stars is because the Cannoli was tasty.

I really think that people should give this restaurant a chance because it is a family run restaurant and it is so cute and the staff is really nice! They're definitely on top of their service. The food here is really good and you can tell it is homemade. The bread that they gave you to start with is also very good. I tried the gnocchi and it was so fluffy and tasty and also a really decent portion. It is enough for two meals but it is not as overwhelming as some restaurants. I also tried the beef meatballs and those were really good. I had to try a bite of the lasagna and that was super delicious

One of the best dining experiences we've had in a while! Everything was perfection: newly redesigned space, the kindest staff, and the food...😋😋! We had the Polipo alla Griglia and Burrata e Funghi to start. The creamy burrata and mushrooms were the perfect combination and packed lots of flavor (chives and truffle). The octopus was some of the best I've had - perfect texture and not too salty, which I've encountered a few times at other Italian restaurants in the area. Both of our pizzas were authentic neopolitans: thin crust, fresh ingredients, and still piping hot from the oven! We had

I have only eaten from their all-you-can-eat lunch menu, so my review is based solely on that experience. The quality of the food was marginal but a nice selection of salad bar items and delicious soup. The food bar was messy and staff did not seem to be prepared for the influx of the lunch rush, which was represented by the empty pizza and pasta selections. Overall, not bad.
