Estate Planning is the process of legally arranging for the orderly disposition (distribution) of your assets to the person or persons of your choice. A well-prepared estate plan ensures that your assets are distributed in the manner you wish, and in the most expeditious and cost-effective way possible.
Elder Law is estate planning for those persons who are ages 55 or above, or for those persons who have a disability or illness. Put another way, generally Elder Law is estate planning for older adults who do not have taxable estates but who are concerned about asset protection in the "Medicaid" context.
The best interest of all family members is served when you secure the counsel of an experienced professional who practices special needs planning. Take comfort in knowing you have performed a thorough investigation and have taken steps to preserve both your family's assets and expected government benefits to provide your loved one with the best future you are able.

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
Elville and Associates provides such comprehensive services. As a service provider myself, I am glad to make referrals to them. For instance, when a family has a high-need dependent and they are nearing retirement, this group has specialists in that type of planning.

I was referred to Meghan by another attorney. I had been involved in a car accident in 2016, and it was becoming increasingly obvious that I was not improving to a pre-accident level of function. I met with Meghan to fill out the initial paperwork, and for me, it was an amazing experience to have someone not question my limitations.
I was very fortunate to be able to reach Meghan when necessary. I know how busy she was, both at work and at home. The car accident case, and the resulting disability, stretched on or *years*, and throughout this process, Meghan was supportive and helpful. She empathized

Elville and Associates has helped my family many times over the years by offering guidance and preparing estate planning documents. My wife and I plan to use their services again in the coming months to plan for our future. Elville and Associates also came to my office and presented a free hour-long learning session about estate planning to more than 50 of our employees. The firm's representatives were very professional and knowledgeable, and stayed to answer many questions after the presentation ended without ever giving a "sales pitch" to anyone who asked for help. They were truly there to educate

We heard about Elville and Associates on WBJC fm. As a musician and music teacher, I appreciated the work that Stephen Elville was doing through his non-profit providing instruments to needy students in the Baltimore area. We found ourselves needing assistance with estate planning, in particular concerning our disabled son, and we were not disappointed!
We elected to have a Living trust instead of a will, and also set up a special needs trust for our one son. The education and seminars that Elville and Associates provide helped us make the right decisions.
Indeed, after you set up trusts, you

I highly recommend Elville & Associates, P.C. They helped our family prepare our rather complicated estate plan about 3 years ago and what we were most impressed with was the service we received. They taught us about everything that was to go into our plan and kept us informed with the progress through in person meetings and even offered us a learning session for our daughter so that she understood our plan.

I had an excellent experience with Elville & Associates when needing help with estate questions about a death in my family. The lawyer took the time to listen and patiently guided me through the process, always with my best interest in mind. My phone calls were always returned, and my emails always answered. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and I would highly recommend them.

Elville and Associates provided my family excellent service and very helpful support.
My family and I started working with Steve Elville and his associates in 2014. We heard their ads on WBJC and knew they were conveniently located. The first visits were educational for us but also convinced us that Steve Elville was listening to our concerns and giving us alternatives for our estate plans.
We are very pleased with the plans Steve developed, and we are especially impressed with the work by his staff (Thanks, Mary!) to ensure that all of our assets and accounts have proper ownership and successor
