Get Smoother Hair with a Brazilian Blowout at Amoy Couture Salon on Lexington, Upper East Side NYC. A Brazilian Blowout works on all types of hair including highly textured and multi-textured hair. A Keratin Treatment, or smoothing treatment, is a long term yet temporary solution to reduce curl pattern or frizz.
Sit down one-on-one with Amoy to chat about your hair concerns, the look you want and how to get there. Consultation fee will be applied towards your service if booked within 30 days. Service includes the cost of the hair, custom hair color on the extensions, the installation, and a blended haircut and finish.

Just here to show appreciation to the team at Amoy, especially Amoy. I go to different salons but I always end up back at Amoy. Amoy pays attention to details and that can't be said for many others. And that really goes along way and is the reason for the quality of work she consistently puts out. Plus, she makes everyone feel special - whether you are on TV and in magazines or not.

This was the best experience I've ever had in a hair salon. No joke! I have curly hair and I get so much anxiety getting my hair done b/c they pull and yank at it...to tame it into submission. But not here. They love my hair and I can tell they understand it. Amoy talked with me and we discussed my concerns... gray hair and thinning hair... I didn't want to use ammonia to dye my hair...and I want to be able to wear my hair both curly and straight. She was so knowledgeable. I felt like I got a little education on how to best treat it and work with my hair. And I'm telling you her

My Experience As A First Time Guest Was Simply Incredible I Schedule A One On One Consultation About Hair Extensions Than Shown Selected Products For My Style Of Choice I Couldn't Be Most Happiest With The Out Come. This was my second visit to Kuki and again he made me feel even more fabulous. He is so passionate about his work and took the time to care for me. The salon is gorgeous and relaxing. The wonderful staff took the time out to acknowledge me and remembered my name, that was so refreshing to be a part of everyone working there, and welcoming. What a wonderful experience to have the opportunity to have Amoy Pitters do my hair. The entire staff was so awesome. The experience and knowledge Amoy has is great, I learned so many do's and don't' about hair care. I even got a follow up call from Donna the salon manager, how cool is that??

Kieshawnna skillfully and gracefully tamed my thick, thick mass of curls with a damn good cut. Plus the shampooing/conditioning/head massage was the best and most relaxing part of my week. She is one skilled lady.
Everyone was so nice and welcoming to me and my Lifebooker deal, which they're not really even doing anymore. Couldn't recommend them more.

I found this salon on Lifebooker. Charlene listened to what I wanted done and gave me a beautiful blowout, and I am the pickiest about my massive amount of curly hair. The salon was full of other women getting their hair done and they all looked great! I would come back here before going to dry bar.

I got a deal off of Lifebooker - from the time I made the appt, I never got attitude for having a deal (which I appreciate). Stephanie did a great job blowing out and cutting my hair. She asked how I typically wore my hair - I told her I wear it both straight and curly and when wearing curly, I'd like bulk taken out. She listened to my concerns and cut my hair with longer layers. If I lived closer, I would def go more often. I was in and out pretty quickly and got lots of compliments on hair.

I went to Amoy for the first time last night to get a blowout through Vive, a subscription unlimited blowout service here in NYC.
Amoy Couture Hair salon is located on the 2nd floor of the building. The sign on the street will direct you into the entrance, where you will see the sign to ring the buzzer and head up to the salon.
The salon is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. There are multiple styling stations, dryers, and sinks to accommodate a full salon.
Every employee at Amoy Couture Hair salon was extremely friendly, professional, and considerate. I arrived for my appointment about 10

I purchased a deep conditioning and blowout voucher from lifebooker. Realizing it was nearing expiration, I called Amoy early in the week to make a Saturday appointment. The only time available was 4:00, which was a little later than I wanted, but it was all they had. I arrived about 15 minutes early and after only a couple of minutes of waiting, Ro greeted me and sat me down to talk about my hair.
I asked for a Kim Kardashian style bouncy waves and he knew exactly what I wanted. He washed my hair and applied the deep conditioning treatment. I then sat under one of those hair dryer helmet

Ro is a great hairstylist. I've become very good at doing my own hair because I don't have the best experiences at salons. I've best to several high end salons, and rarely felt glamorous when I left. I usually didn't see other clients I felt looked great either.
This salon is exceptional. The staff is professional and very knowledgeable. I've already told 3 of my friends to go visit Ro. I had a great experience and will definitely be returning. They specialize is all hair types...and as a woman of color, finding a salon that can accommodate black hair has been a challenge

Purchased a lifebooker coupon for a blowout.
I called Wednesday at 4:15 to make an appointment for Friday and the girl said they were already closed for the day (?) and to call back after 9 tomorrow.
So I called Thursday around 9:15 and I think the same girl put me on hold for 5 minutes then came back on and said their system was down and they would call me back to schedule. That still hasn't happened.
I'm bummed because the reviews are so good and I've been looking for a go-to place for blowouts, but I guess they don't want business or treat coupon customers like crap.

This review is for my charming & talented stylist Kuki Alrawi.
I straggled in out of the rain with platinum grey roots & the remnants of a year-old haircut and emerged looking sleek & sophisticated. Kuki not only colored my hair but delivered a chic cut, as well. I also met Amoy, who is delightful & bears such an amazing resemblance to Kerry Washington! The salon atmosphere was tranquil & friendly. Everyone was incredibly hospitable & made me feel like family.
