Nine9 The UnAgency
You've landed the role of a lifetime, memorized all of your lines, and you're super excited to get started. This excitement is, of course, a good thing. But it can also easily translate into overacting. All of that practicing in front of a mirror can look very different in front of a camera, which tends to amplify every gesture you make.

If you have an audition coming up - congratulations! This should be a moment of celebration. However, there is likely so much running through your mind preparing to give a successful audition that it can make it difficult to see it as such. What monologue should you use? How should you dress? If you want to be a model, chances are you want to make it to Supermodel status.
Services
The Nine9 mission is clear: 99% of models and actors aren't represented by an agency and we are helping them take over the entertainment industry. Nine9 provides the 99% with the tools, opportunities and support to begin and advance their careers. We believe there is power in numbers, and the 99% is always greater than the 1%.
What is Nine9? An Entertainment Company, working with Models, Actors, and Musicians. We are best known for helping anyone with a desire to become a model or actor, get started in the entertainment industry. What does Nine9 stand for? The 99% of models and actors aren't represented by an agency and we are helping them take over the entertainment industry.
What happens after the evaluation? We will either decide you are a right fit for the company and invite you back for a final one on one call back or ask you to reapply when you are ready and have taken our notes into consideration. I don't have any experience in the industry, do I qualify? Nine9 works with talent who both have no experience and lots of experience in the industry.
What types of opportunities does Nine9 help provide? We work with a wide array of castings directors and clients. How do you help me get auditions? There are several ways our talent receive opportunities. Over the past 15 years we have built strong relationships with thousands of casting companies, directors, agencies, producers and other clients.
Do I need professional photography? Professional photography can help market you. We can work with you. If you are not ready now, you can still book castings without professional photos but your chances do increase with better pictures. Can I use my own photographer? Sure you can. We would like to know who the photographer is and we would like to see samples of their work.

I would give Zero stars if it was allowed. I have the same review as the previous people on here. I authorized the first $99. Then, when I found out it was a scam, asked for a refund, was declined. Have gone back and forth with my banking info credit and debit since June, 2021. Still not satisfied. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

This is obviously a scam. They literally frame the sale from the very beginning to make you feel like you are getting something different, special and unique. When in fact they just was you to sign up and ger you money. Scam artist

I saw an ad on social media for a casting call. The casting call was relevant to Chicago-based shows. Chicago fire and Chicago PD to name two. It turned out to be just an advertisement. I logged into a zoom. Sounded exciting. 15 to 20 minutes later discovered it was purely a way to get people to sign up for their agency. Then they could possibly help you maybe get a casting call. The most misleading aspects of this company was the fact that they said there was a monthly fee for their support. However the first was free. I filled out the form provided information. I was then charged $99. I don’t

These people have contacted me multiple times. I read the reviews, most were bad so I ignored them for the most part. A few days ago I got a message about an audition for something i was interested in. I had no idea it was them so I decided to give it a try. It was NOT an audition. It was these scam artists. She talked for 30 min then sent a payment link. Real agencies don't for ask for money before they even see our hear you. Don't fall for it!

This company, on the surface, appears to be legit. I thought when I did the zoom meeting that I was actually going to a virtual audition. I was told that I would be the only person on the call. Wrong. Wrong.

I was on the virtual call with a bunch of other people. No questions were asked of me. Instead, I spent about 30 minutes listening to her talk about the virtues of signing with their agency. (She said it would only take about 15 minutes),

She made the company sound so great! They work with so many shows and movies! They don't require anyone with experience! They don't take

These individuals are complete scam artists. I spent $496 and received next to nothing in return. Once you pay that sum you then come in to set up your web page. They take amateur-quality photos. You then have to pay a monthly fee in order to view casting notices. P.S. If you're a member of SAG you would not be eligible for these auditions.
Do yourself a favor and subscribe to casting websites instead. This "unagency" does not come from a place of integrity.

These people reached out to me on Facebook Messenger asking me if I wanted to be a part of the show the Ozark. They asked me to set up a phone interview they stated nothing about money and halfway through the interview they told me I had to pay $99 everything was misleading what their business model is is to lure you into a deal where you call in and then you got to pay and so if they get 20 people to do it then they made $2,000 for somebody to use a digital platform to possibly be a client under their website based talent options for lack of better wording it was just a complete scam my bank

I too was duped into thinking this was an open casting for a show to be an extra. I just wanted to do it as an experience.
As soon as the presentation started it went fast to the money. They were offering an exclusive one day only $99, but you have to pay exactly at that moment. All of my questions were answered rudely such as, borrow money from a friend you must pay now and now only. All of my questions were answered with find the money. Of course I am not going to hand over any money to this company, especially after reading their BBB complaints and the reviews here. I hope I never hear from

I joined about two months ago, and they were still messaging me about joining two months after I joined. Also, I notified the recruiter that I needed help, and she told me someone would contact me, and they never did!! I contacted customer support about my refund, and no one responded. Very unprofessional! These people took my money, an I received nothing out of the process. We are in a pandemic, all they did was take money from me, opposed to helping me. She said it was people and tools there to help with our portfolios, but I never received any of that help. It was a waste of my time, energy

I was meant to have a zoom meeting today with you, and showed up early, and instead sat in a virtual waiting room for 40 minutes. If I'm expected to be punctual, I expect the people I'm working with to be punctual as well. At the end of it all, after being unable to even sit a meeting with them, I was redirected to a page asking for my contact info again, and my credit card info as well. If you can't be bothered to even meet with me at the allotted time, much less on time, why should I give you my credit card info?

This company has been sending me text messages for nearly two years to do an open call. I finally agreed to it . I joined the zoom meeting, the presenter seem irritated, no smile or excitement in her voice nor on her face. Within 15 minutes or less she describe the company and then sent us a form to pay $99 plus for whatever they were offering to do for us. Its so many scams going on i just think that if they are not a scam they should inform you of what you could do have us sign a contract basically stating what we are paying for and how they can help us. Who is to say this company gets your money

These people will not leave me alone. I originally did sign up for an open call audition, but this was before I researched their business and realized it was a scam. It's been almost a year since I signed up, and they still regularly contact me at least once a week. I've blocked the multiple numbers they have used (so far) and they still manage to get in contact with me. When asked to be removed from the call list, they said "why?" Them contacting me again today was the last straw. These people are annoying as hell.

Got baited on here when i clicked on a facebook ad about Blacklist looking for background cast which forced you to put in your email before they'd give you further information. Then received text to set up virtual casting call (~15-30 minutes)
They spent the entirety of the call talking about their company nine9 talent agency and how it normally costs 499 for the casting card and headshots but for today it would cost 99... then somehow a monthly fee gets pulled in
there was never any audition- just a trick to get people to sign up (which when i saw the name on the forms i googled and found

Sat in the waiting room for nearly 3 hours for the second meeting. They accepted pretty much everyone to come back from the first meeting. Seems strange to accept literally anybody that walks through the doors then after meeting them for less than 30 minutes say they're perfect and to come back. Only for them to ask you 5 questions about what sports do you play or jobs you've worked and go tight into giving them $500 and $40 every month. This is supposedly the only way they get paid since all the money you make is yours to keep. Make money or not they already made their money off of you. I didn

Okay, I'm going to be honest. I just cancelled my appointment with Nine9. Thank goodness I checked out all of these reviews, as well as several videos on YouTube warning us as two companies like this. Also, there are over 80 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website about them over 80! Within the past few years! You know what, I'm sick of this. I was about to come there after a hard day of work, jump on Metro-North to Grand Central Station from Connecticut, and you know that cost $50. So after all this running back and forth for me to get there and then you ask me for money I would

Total scam. They just wasted my time. After an hour and a half of sitting around and watching "The Intern," I finally sit down with a woman who asks me why I'm there. I tell her that they texted me requesting that I come in. She refuses to believe me saying "they would never scout someone like that." I even showed her the texts and ask how I then got the appointment in the first place. She didn't know how to answer that. I called the number after my appointment and it's since been disconnected. Don't waste your time (and money apparently) on this hoax! I
