Always having a passion for the culinary arts (following in my mother's steps) and having a sweet tooth, I started baking as a hobby at the end of 2009, making treats for family and friends. Over years of trying new things and following the latest culinary trends, I found out how much I love creating and how gratifying it is to see people smile when they receive their cakes, especially the kids.
Ten years later, with my love and dedication for baking, and the help and support of my family, I embarked on a new journey and opened Nurys Cakes Bakeshop in 2019. Located in the heart of Bayonne, New Jersey we have become a feature of the local scene. Passerby often stop at the shop window to admire the stunning cakes on display or to test our delicious cakes, cupcakes, and sweets.

Went to Nury's for a last minute birthday cake and MY GOD... I have never tasted anything like this before! This was the best cake I've ever had! Everyone who came over loved the cake so much and had seconds! It's so moist and the icing isn't too sweet. It's the perfect cake! Not to mention their cupcakes! The cupcakes are so beautiful and soft! I will 100% be coming back for cake and cupcakes!! Thanks for helping me last minute! We loved the cake so much!!!

Nurys is hands down one of the cleanest, detailed, and communicative bakers i have ever met.
i ordered a cake for my birthday, and came into the shop or place my order. she wore a mask, gloves, and had plexiglass and hand sanitizer everywhere. there was also a box of masks out in case i didn't have one on/mine snapped.
she walked me through how she makes her cakes, the amount of people each size is meant to serve, and what she could make for me based on dietary restrictions and my budget.
i ended up ordering a naked carrot cake, with a happy birthday sign and a few feathered and floral

I bought a cake for my little sister's birthday and it tasted amazing!! Literally one of the best cakes I've ever had. The owner was so sweet and friendly, plus the cake was beautifully made and hand-decorated. My sister doesn't get cakes like that often, so it was a great experience for her. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!!

Nury's Cakes is my go-to spot for baked goods! Visited this weekend and purchased their cappuccino, chocolate, cookies and cream cupcakes and a chocolate cake pop (decorated as an ice cream cone which is the cutest thing ever) and I was super delighted! As someone who loves baked goods but doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, the cupcakes were the perfect size and sweetness to satisfy my cravings. I was immediately put at ease by the interior design, simplistic and cute, it's a very comfortable place and I can't wait to go back and enjoy my goods in store once covid is over ! 5 stars isn't enough!!! I do not understand why people leave fabricated 1-star reviews. **The shop is and HAS ALWAYS BEEN beautiful, extremely clean, and the presentation of the food is immaculate. The staff is always helpful and super polite. The owner is beyond talented. The cookies and cupcakes are a good cheat-day treat, and I've taken home cakes too. The quality and taste cannot be beat. This will continue to be my go-to place to get treats for birthdays and celebrations.

One word to describe my experience...Amazing! For start to finish...the experience with Nury was great! For our simple minimony, we had a simplw cake made for our family and friends. The cake came out just as I thought it would. simple,but awesome. It was delicious as well!!! I can not say enough. I highly recommend for any custom cakes or any parties.

The cake I bought from here for my cousin's birthday party was absolutely incredible! Not only did it taste amazing, but it was beautiful and decorated so so well. They were also timely and precise and getting the cake made and ordered was nothing short of a wonderful, welcoming experience. I will be sure to return in the future when I need cakes ordered!

This bakery shows no other quality but professional and kindness. The owner is such a hard working baker and her pastries show off her skills. The cakes are beautifully made and crafted to perfection. There are so many varieties of cupcakes that even the pickiest person can find a perfect match for their taste buds! I recommend this bakery to everyone in Bayonne, and even a stop by just to see what they offer is worth the trip. I'm sure you'll be nothing but amazed by the window pieces showing off Nurys pure talent and love for this job. The service is quick and so kind. I recommend!

I was very pleasantly surprised by both Nurys adorable store and the their cupcakes. The texture of the chocolate cupcakes we had was moist and satisfying. As a person that normally throws away frosting, it was lovely to eat a cupcake in its entirety! The frosting was flavorful, and not overly sugary. Loved the frosting! My daughter remarked on how the coffee frosting tasted like a delicious cup of coffee. Definitely going back for seconds!

Such a cute new addition to broadway between 16th and 17th street. They have super cute cupcakes and the inside of the shop is very instagramable. Their prices are a little steep for cupcakes but that's expected since their cupcakes flavors are well thought out and decorated nicely. They even have liquor shots in some of their cupcakes! Definitely worth checking out!

I had ordered several varieties of cupcakes and a cake from this new bakery. Everything was to my liking! They were not too sweet and super delicious! Flavors were unique but not overwhelming.The basic yellow cake with pineapple filling was the best I'd tried in years. The decorations also were on par with any high-end boutique bakeries in NYC in my opinion. The owner and the baker herself was very pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend Nurys Cakes bakery to anyone.
