Dr. Herdman is a fully board-certified child & adolescent psychiatrist, as well as a board certified general psychiatrist with nearly 20 years of experience who specializes in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and behavioral concerns across the range of child development. Also a parent, Dr. Herdman practices from the standpoint of collaborative treatment with parents and the children or teens themselves.
Dr. Slider is a talented, compassionate, board-certified child & adolescent psychiatrist and a board-certified general psychiatrist who resides in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh with her husband and children. Dr. Slider brings her excellent training and her passion for individualized, comprehensive treatment to our private practice setting in the South Hills!
Our office is set up with families in mind- providing treatment in a bright, warm, friendly, comfortable, and private atmosphere. The office for South Hills Integrated Psychiatric Services, P.C. is centrally located in McMurray, PA (Peters Township) with ample free parking in the attached private parking lot.
High quality, individualized psychiatric care is provided to children and teens through this practice only on a fee for service basis. The practice does not participate in any insurance product or insurance billing. Full payment for services rendered on that day will be expected at the time of each office visit.
Due to overwhelming demand for services, new patients requests are generally being accepted on a referral basis only from the child's current therapy provider. HOWEVER, in our commitment to provide the most high quality, individualized care possible, please feel free to send an email to request an appointment if you believe that your child's individual situation would benefit from our care, even if it does not fit this standard.
