Founded in 2016 by brothers Mike and Tony Andino, Riobamba was created to showcase the flavors of their Latin American heritage. Family meals were a huge part of growing up in the Andino household, with a mother from Italy and father from Ecuador there was always something delicious working in the kitchen.

Mike's path to a culinary career started at Kendall college in 2002 where he was classically trained while working at Convito Italiano in Wilmette. He then cooked his way through southern Italy and returned with great passion and knowledge of everything Italian. He has been in charge of kitchens allover the Chicago area including Trattoria 225 in Oak Park, Blue Star Wine Bar in Chicago, and Gusto Italiano in Glenview.

What a great little place. Got the burrito bowl a few times already and in blown away each time. The horchata is delicious, the yucca fries, chimmichurri sauce, the maduros... 😋. It's my new local taco go to place.

Best kept secret in Glenview, I'm so happy I found this place, great service and even better food. Excellent tacos, such authentic flavors cooked to perfection, the lamb taco and steak taco are a must try. Yuca fries are so delicious I recommend to order 2. I will definitely be coming back

Riobamba is one of my favorite restaurants in the area! Whether I'm ordering catering for work or dinner with friends, they always get the order right and the food is delicious. I can't recommend it enough!!

This place is tucked in the back but has great food. We always get the tacos, yucca fries, street corn, and flan. I like their upscale sofas. It's a cute little place.

I really liked my tacos. However, no Coke or Pepsi options. They carry a brand that I’ve never heard of, only root beer kind of drinks. UGH

Food is very good. Typical Ecuadorian and Mexican food. Nice and very clean place. Service is excellent
