Julie Cole, MS, RDN, LDN, CEDRD is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) who offers practical and sensible nutrition advice. Her passion as a trained chef and food healer is utilizing her clinical and culinary experience to improve people's self-esteem and relationship with food. Julie is committed to delivering health education through an evidence-informed, weight-neutral, social justice lens while promoting positive and inclusive messages.
Counseling sessions focus on working together to come up with strategies for change that are achievable and comfortable for you. Depending on where you on in your journey we may start with a meal plan and food journaling, neither of these are requirements. We will utilize the best tools for you! Mindfulness and awareness are our goals.
No, at this time we don't currently accept insurance, but we are able to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Intuitive eating is an approach to nutrition and wellness that focuses on mindfulness, listening to the body and creating a healthy relationship with food.

Julie truly understands diet culture and eating disorders. She is extremely kind and listens to her clients. Julie has helped me gain freedom from an eating disorder, at my own pace; Julie will not push supplements or try to make a sale. Julie Cole is out here challenging society's views on what our bodies "should" look like and what we "should" be feeding ourselves. I am so glad I was referred to treatment with Julie. Last year I realised I was becoming more symptomatic and engaging more into my eating disorder again. Previously, I had gone through both inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, but I felt myself relapsing back to square one. Julie is amazing!! For over 10 years I felt tired, exhausted and kept gaining weight. When the blood tests came back normal the doctors just brushed off my feelings. Julie listened to me, had me take the Dutch test and the results explained all my symptoms. She is now working with me to add supplements and specific foods to help me feel better. She works with me at my pace and never pressures me to make changes I don't feel ready to make. I cannot recommend Julie Cole enough. It was so hard for me to find a dietician who didn’t force some diet or calorie counting, but instead understood my history and needs and is teaching me to be okay with food, myself, and listening to my body. We are SO lucky to have Julie in SWFL. She is one of the very few nutritionists here who is very knowledgeable about eating disorders. Her anti diet take on nutrition is refreshing to say the least.
