At our offices, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash and most credit cards. We inform our patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
A comprehensive eye exam is an evaluation of your complete eye and vision health. It includes several vision measurement exercises using lettered charts and other measurement instruments to determine how well you see objects that are near and far, to measure your peripheral vision and your depth of field, and to assess other elements of your vision.

Today, contact lenses are available for a wide range of vision problems, including nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. There are also multifocal lenses to help those with presbyopia (vision problems that occur with age) achieve crisp, clear vision for distance objects as well as for reading.
There can be several causes of dry, red or itchy eyes. The most common cause is an allergic reaction to an airborne irritant or an irritant on your skin. Contact lenses may also cause redness or "scratchiness, " especially if not cleaned properly, if you're not used to wearing contacts, if you wear them beyond their normal wear period or if you're in a smoky environment, and infections and eye strain are other possible culprits.
