Best dance studio in the NorthShore area! The teachers are all very knowledgable in many styles of dance. The owner is very professional but has a great personality especially when working with younger children ... She makes it feel like a big happy family, makes dance fun more than just an "extracurricular activity" for the kids. It's conveniently located on Rt. 114 w/ parking right out front or on the side of the building, no more driving around the block while waiting for class to end lol ... They also have a great competition team that has won many awards for groups, solos, and

Honestly speaking, you won't get better training by better people anywhere else in the whole world! The owners and teachers of Phunk provide not only the best of urban dance training but they build something much bigger than that. They are renowned and respected by other studios from across the globe. They have raised awareness for San Filippo Syndrome through Hip Hop for Hope, they have had dancers on huge movies and tv shows, danced for mega stars etc but through it all they just keep producing great dancers with big hearts and passion! This is testament to the hard work and sheer love

They grooved, they shaked. They breakdanced. They did crazy isolations. One kid had a mohawk. One kid got up there and tore it up all by himself on stage! Backflips happened. Dancers came flying off the stage. I'm telling
