We are a large commercial greenhouse in Toledo, Ohio that grows and ships Spring bedding plants for Garden Centers and Landscapers throughout the region. Operating at the same location since 1910, four generations of growing experience has left a dedicated pursuit of growing top quality plants for your customers gardens.
Services
Fred Brodbeck began farming at this location in 1910 primarily producing seasonal vegetable crops outside. As with many vegetable growers, the need for greenhouses started with the ability to start young vegetable seedlings a few weeks ahead of the last frost in Spring to bring local produce to the market sooner.
Our plants are shipped on wheeled carts with adjustable shelves, which makes for quick unloading and easy mobility without the assistance of a forklift. Deliveries are made with our specialized fleet of delivery trucks equipped with large platform rail lift gates to unload the carts at your garden center.
Our product line of plants includes a wide variety of popular annuals, herbs, and perennials. Our annuals are packed in 12 packs of 3 or 4 in a true 10x20 inch flat, while our herb and perennial flats contain 18 - 3 1/2 square breakaway pots. Our large line of premium annuals and grasses are planted in five and 6inch pots.
