Having worked with students of all ages on and off since 1998 while raising my own four children beginning in 2007, I believe I have the skills and knowledge to assist those who are eager to expand their minds, talents, and skills.

Services
Kara comes from a musical family, her parents meeting as guitarists for their church. Kara's musical journey began in Virginia Beach, VA at the age of seven on classical piano. She started performing in local events and talent shows at the age of ten. When her younger brother, now a professional jazz pianist, Justin Kauflin, began taking violin lessons, she wanted to play too, beginning with the school orchestra.
I believe music is meant to be SHARED with others as a means of connecting with the world around them. What that looks like can vary vastly from wanting to entertain, serve, or inspire through songwriting, producing, joining a band/orchestra, becoming a virtuoso instrumentalist or simply as a creative outlet and stretching your comfort zone.
