Campers choose among land and water sports, arts & crafts and a wide range of outdoor activities. Hiking, canoeing and wilderness camping trips are offered throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Experience a "one camp" vibe. Blending backgrounds from 20 states and 7 countries, our community is welcoming, inclusive and confidently silly. Netop is an "unplugged" nature-rich environment where campers live in platform tents alongside top-notch counselors. As a smaller camp, everyone is known at Netop.
Whether learning archery for the first time or striving for a perfect score of 50, campers learn techniques, build skills and practice safe rules of the range. Fun games and competitions make archery a popular morning activity! Grab a racket and a shuttlecock and join us at the badminton court. Have fun learning the basics and playing games like King of the Court, multiple shuttles and other fun drills.
Free time occurs several times each day, generally before or after a meal. During free time, campers have the opportunity to play and relax with some of their favorite games and activities. Counselors are actively engaged during free time to participate, supervise or encourage as needed.

After a busy morning of three activity periods and post-lunch rest hour, campers jump into afternoon and evening events. Netop afternoons are filled with group activities, inter-camp competition, camper choice and free swim.
Warm, sunny Maine afternoons are a great time to enjoy friends while participating in organized group activities, such as: street hockey, dodgeball, slip 'n slide, ultimate Frisbee, flag football, kickball, games with other camps or "camper choice" days.Choice activities may include a variety of options such as archery, chess, fishing, soccer, rock band or woodshop.

Our youngest is currently at Netop, and our 2 older boys (16 and 18) went to Netop Summer Camp as well. By far this is the best experience we could have given to them- To go to a place where boys learn about community, kindness, teamwork, goal setting, and most of all a strong feeling of belonging and having so much fun in a supportive environment with fantastic role models- it’s the best!! I cannot recommend this camp enough. I am a school nurse, and I researched the heck out of this place, even though lots of families I know have sent their kids, and had a wonderful experience. I was a camper back in the 70's and to this day there isn't a summer I don't wish I could be transported back. Ken Truscott and David Webster really created something special. I'll never forget them or the whole Truscott family. Not only did they create a institution for learning, playing and celebrating youth, but they instilled integrity, honesty, and kindness toward one another. Values that to this day I hold dear. It was and forever will be one of the best times of my life.
