VP Nails

I had really high hopes for the place due to the reviews. The only thing they can do well is apply the acrylic. I asked for a coffin shape with a cute flame design. I got random rectangles & seaweed fingers. The tech’s hands were filthy, he got dirt and acrylic all over my fingers. It was my only chance to treat myself that month and I left in tears. The acrylic lasted forever but the design and experience alone was enough cause to never come back.

They did not use enough nail polish on my toes and hands. When I asked to add polish to one nail on my hand the woman at the front said that there is nothing wrong with my polish. I gave up asking to fix anything else when I got this attitude. I won’t waist my time to argue with stupid. I went to different place to fix my toes. Another day the woman at the front was doing my gel manicure and looked like it was one week old. The woman that was doing my toes pulled my skin so hard that my toe started bleeding.

Hannah was amazing and gave me Exactly what I've been wanting I've went to multiple salons in the area and none of them have even come close to how good she did! Everyone here is so polite! Kevin was amazing with my pedicure I'll never go anywhere but here from now on! They are also extremely clean!! The week before Halloween I went to Crystal she did AMAZING on my Halloween nails!! It's the second week of November and my nails are still holding up 😂

I have been here twice now, I heard very mixed reviews & wanted to try them out. My first time I got dip powder on my nails & they chipped within a week. The second time (just 3 days ago) I got gel, thinking they just messed up the dip. They were peeling by the end of the day... just overall not good quality. Along with this, they were rushing the whole appointment.

I love VP nails!! They were absolutely amazing!! The BEST nail salon I have been to, period. The staff is so friendly, professional and they all have great sense of humor! You guys are the best!! 🙌

Long wait times 45 minutes after my appointment time. Technician was working on me and left 2 times to design other patrons and another time to handle a situation over the phone (they over charged another client). When I complained service overall took 2hrs and 15 minutes for a full acrylic gel set technician said “why complain your nails look beautiful”

Had a pedicure. Very nice work cleaning up my feet and toe nails! Relaxing! But the last 2 times i had a pedicure my toe nails werent cute short enough. Other than that, satisfied!

I love this place. Only place I'll go to in Pottstown! Katy always does an amazing job on my nails and is so friendly and nice to talk to. She offers recommendations on colors or styles that she thinks would look nice on me when I'm out of ideas for my nails. There is sometimes a wait so I recommend calling for an appointment.

Moved to Pottstown a couple of years ago and couldn’t find a nail place that lived up to my old one. Finally I took the plunge and went in to VP nails one Sunday afternoon, and I walked out a forever customer. I will always come here as long as I am living in the area, and will recommend to all of my friends. The woman who did my nails (I did not catch her name but she is in her 20’s and only works Sunday’s) absolutely nailed it. I will make a point to see her every other Sunday. Thanks VP nails!

They get one stars for being open and having running water . That's about all very bad experience! Have given them multiple chances ! Awful ! Don't go ! They do not clean the pedicure bowls ! Please do not go

I had to ask the lady to fix to many things. She tried to do whatever to my feet like this was my first time and I have no idea what I want and like it was weird.

Poor service! Poor job with nails. No communication between nail professionals and clients. Dropped 3 of my girls off for a 3 o'clock appointment. I went to Target and Giant, went back at 4:30 and only one of my girls was done and the other two just sat! An hour and a half after their appt! I complained and she said, "sorry we're busy." I said we didn't need that time and we could have come another day if you were busy. We went for our first time to another place a month ago. We wanted to try another place because of poor communication and unhappy results with their nails

I always go here and I always have excellent results everyone is friendly and professional.
They even have COVID protocol in effect !!! I felt very safe.

I just moved to this area and wanted to try out this new nail salon despite some bad reviews there seemed to be a ton of good ones. I will say my toe nails are adorable and I love them but the service was what I had a big problem with. I'm a very patient person but when I have an appointment for a full set and a pedicure I'm fine with waiting but after waiting 30 minutes for my pedicure (which is totally fine) they had me wait almost an hour for my full set (which is not fine). I ended up leaving without getting my nails done. The woman at the counter said I said "manicure"

So I came to VP Nails after although enjoying Fashion Nails in the Upland Square, but wanting some thing less pricey. When I first started going there and gave my first review on here I saw a gentleman by the name of Johnny and he did good work on my acrylics over that year. But then he left. Joseph is an older gentleman and he is very good as well. And a gentleman named Michael gave me a good pedicure once-back in 2018. But since Johnny left, service for me went downhill. Would not recommend. First time here and was not impressed. I made an appointment, they took me about 35min after. Got a pedicure done and full set. The guy who did my pedicure rushed. I had an ingrown toe nail which any nail salon would take care of but he didn't. The lady who did my full set was the owner I believe named Hannah. She cut my one finger. My tips for the full set were all different lengths and on side ways. She kept stopping to help the customers walking in and answering the phone. Let's not forget to add in how my FOUR of my nails fell off in less then 2 days!! Would not

I came in for a dip manicure as a walk in. They were able to get me in right away however the manicurist that worked on me must of been brand new or unlicensed. She used an artificial nail to rip off the dip that was already on my natural nails, cut my natural nails short and glued on tips.
When she trimmed the length, they were about medium length. After multiple attempts at dipping my nails, then filing, again and again, my nails were left short and very thick.

I'll never go again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely awful.... the place was clearly not clean. The fans for gel manicures were dirty and had nail polish and dust from other customers' nails all over them. All of my nails are a different shape (SNS with tips). On top of that, they cut my cuticles dry. Not only are my cuticles still in rough shape, they were made worse and are irritated now. The manicurist did not wash her hands between customers and it wasn't clear to me that she used a clean, new pair of cuticle cutters between customers. Not sanitary!

By far the best nail salon in the Pottstown area! Always so friendly and do a great job! I was looking for a good nail salon for the longest time and am so glad I found this place!

This is only my second time coming back to VP Nails and even after my first time going I knew I'd never go to any other nail salon. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my nails and I often come in with an idea then change it like 5 times while they're still working on the acrylic, and every other place I've been too has gotten frustrated with me when I've changed my mind about the polish... or asked them to make the corners rounder etc., but not here, they're more than happy to accommodate to the best of their ability anything that you ask for, and they don&apos

Don't bother making an appointment. I did so two times in the past four months(both times over a day in advance) only to wait 15+ minutes to sit for my pedicure. Both times I as with a friend and she was worked on way before me--meaning she was done and drying alone and I was stuck alone on the chair when the point of making an appointment was so we could sit together and catch up. Also, the quality of service has gone down significantly; I have been disappointed in the quality of my pedicure both times (spots missed on my toenails and messy trim jobs).

They do a good job painting and filing the nails at a reasonable price but the service is lacking. I got taken and my nail tech stopped midway through and got up and was on the phone for 15 minutes. Then later the gentleman who painted my nails started fixing something which took another 10 minutes. While I was waiting under the fan for my nails to dry I smudged one. They fixed it no problem but I had to wait even longer for my one nail to dry. I was waiting for this one nail to dry when I was told (not so nicely) to leave and it was fine. I insisted that it wasn't dry but she told me to leave

Great service! The last nail place I went to in King of Prussia, the lady was too busy talking to her co-workers to pay attention to detail. The lady I saw at VP Nails took her time and was careful to not hurt me. I got a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow wax and it only cost me $47 (without tip). I was expecting an up-charge since I requested a design on my nails. My eyebrows are messed up to begin with, so even though the picture makes them look a little uneven I'm so happy with the outcome. This picture was taken about 10 minutes after I left, no redness! I'm definitely coming back!
