Whether you are new to the area, new to our office, or currently in treatment, we strive to make you feel comfortable and at home! Dr. Khara and our Dream Team of happy, caring, highly-trained professionals are equipped to answer any questions you may have. Upon arrival for your first visit to our office, you will be greeted by our new patient coordinator.
I love being an orthodontist, and the opportunity it affords me to be able to meet so many wonderful families. It has always been my focus to "do the right thing at the right time!" Therefore, I treat my patients as if they were one of my own children. I am extremely passionate about orthodontics and am continuously seeking educational opportunities for myself and my staff.
Although I was born in Erie, PA, my roots are planted in Fuquay Varina. I have been in dentistry, and with Dr. Khara, for twelve years. Originally, I wanted to be a hygienist, but quickly fell in love with orthodontics. When I am not at work, I head off to my second home and favorite place to be, Oak Island!
Khara Orthodontics understands the importance of having a strong community and therefore have made a commitment to service. In this commitment, we strive to continuously go above and beyond with community awareness, participating in community events, sponsorship programs, donations and organization of events.

Dr. Khara and his staff are simply amazing. From the warm introduction you receive from Pam the moment you walk in, you feel welcome in this office!!! Everyone is more than happy to help with either appointment scheduling or billing. The team working on my son are always willing to engage my son in conversation and have a true caring quality about them. My oldest son went here as well and loved the experience as well. Overall, I would always recommend Khara Orthodontics to anyone!

Both the staff and Dr. Khara are so warm and welcoming. I have only great things to say about this team. I'm so glad we chose Dr. Khara to spend 2 years with on my son's journey to aligned teeth. Worth every penny!! We just got his braces off last week and will pick his retainer up today. As happy as I am that the braces are complete, I will miss the staff as well as Dr. Khara!!

We absolutely love Dr. Khara and his staff!!! My daughter's teeth have made amazing transitions in such a short period of time! She was dreading getting braces, and now she looks forward to the visits and seeing the changes. They are extremely helpful and patient with the less than excited patients, too. :). (My daughter was one of them!)
