An Orthodontist is a specialist in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. I am halfway through my Invisalign treatment, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results so far (update to come post-completion). Dr. Kim thoroughly explained to me that results would vary based on the level of commitment from the patient--I really appreciated the fact that expectations were accurately set beforehand, as it encouraged me to be a more dedicated patient.
Your first orthodontic visit is key - it will help us assess your condition as well as provide a forum for discussing your orthodontic treatment needs. During this visit, we will perform an oral examination and a series of diagnostic records, such as digital radiographs and photographs of your jaws and teeth.

Our dentist gave us three referrals for an orthodontist. After visiting all three and talking to each orthodontist, we decided to go with Apex - and we're glad we did! Dr(s). Kim and Lee are absolutely the best! They took their time talking to us and were extremely thorough in explaining the entire process. The office is very clean and patients are taken on time. The office staff is exceptional. Easy parking. The homemade cookies are a bonus! Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good positive things about every single staff member at this location. They are considerate, caring, very well educated and just overall amazing people. I don't feel treated as just another patient I feel treated as a family member or a very very close friend by every single one of those staff members. And on a professional side they have done amazing work for my teeth!! Can't wait till the end results.

We joined the Apex family in Whittier, Ca November 2018. I could not have made a better choice in trusting my son’s teeth in Dr. Kim. Dr. Kim and her staff is truly amazing. The office is clean and modern. The staff is friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and bilingual! My son is excited to come to his appointment and eat some delicious warm cookies along with his younger sisters. It is exciting to see the positive progress on his teeth. I looked up an orthodontist in Whittier from Delta Dental website and Apex came up. I read about the husband/wife team and I love the family business idea. After our consultation I felt very welcomed and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We became patients within days after our consult. Highly recommend this Ortho Office.

My little girl loves going to see her orthodontist... No, it's not the cookie or coffee for mommy. It is the wonderful staff at this place. They really care about their tiny sized patients, like my little 11 year old girl.
Before i picked this place, she was treated by another orthodontist for her open bite with myobrace. Initially, i was in love with that place, but they kept on changing doctors. I decided to switch to apex after comparing prices with various places. Her old place, the initial doctor left and that's when everything went hill.

I just finished my treatment at Apex Orthodontics. This is such a great office that has 2 of the BEST doctors and amazing ortho assistants! Everyone is so kind and helpful and they all make sure every single patient is well taken care of. During my entire treatment at Apex, the experience and interactions with the assistants and the doctors piqued my interest for the field of dentistry. We joined the Apex Family November 2018. We can not be any happier with such a clean office, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, bilingual staff. Dr. Kim and the staff are always happy and are genuinely happy to great my family for my son's appointment. They really try to work with you to give you the appointment that best works your schedule. Cookies are always warm and ready to sweeten up our visit. In addition, they do a great job of keeping the patient and parents updated of the entire process. I highly recommend them to anyone with or without kids.

Our dentist referred us to Apex for our 8 year old's orthodontics treatment. Our little girl was nervous about getting braces but immediately was put at ease by the friendly and warm welcome we received.
Dr. Kim and her team throughly explained the treatment plan for our daughter. They were ready to begin the same day and gave us various options for payment plan.
Just after one visit, our daughter's smile has greatly improved. I know we made the right decision by choosing Apex.

When I learned our little guy required early braces I began to research all my orthodnotics options in my area. I visited no less than 6 local offices including Apex and it was an easy decision on Apex being the overall best for our little guy all around. The staff were great and continue to be as welcoming as they were the first day. Dr Kim always makes my little guy smile and puta him at ease. I would recommend Apex to any friend seeking an orthondontics. They actually have 2 offices this Whittier location and a West Covina one as well, and athough West Covina is closer distance wise this Whittier

Dr. Kim is awesome!!! My son started treatment couple months ago and we're absolutely happy with Dr. Kim and all her staff. After taking my son to several consultations with different Orthodontists, we chose Dr. Kim. Not only is she sweet, caring & friendly, she takes the time to explain each procedure and answer any questions we have. We initially went to the West Covina office for consult, but chose Whittier because it's closer to home. Friendly staff at both locations!

Great staff and wonderful service. The office staff are as friendly and welcoming as you would want anyone to be. From the admin staff to the doctor, all are accommodating and knowledgeable in their craft. Although the building that that are located in does leave a bit to be desired, the office is bright clean and modern. I recommend stopping in and giving Apex a chance to fulfill your orthodontic needs. I haven't been to their other office, however I am sure it is equal in operation. In naval aviation we used the term Bravo Zulu recognize a excellence and a job well!

Dr. Kim is amazing, she is great with kids and her staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The office is beautiful and clean.

I had a terrific experience here. The admin and support staff are very friendly and accommodating. The team here have great communication and have been very thorough with me and my son. The doctors are very knowledgeable and make it a point to illustrate and outline all procedures before doing them. It has been a refreshing interaction and opportunity to build a relationship with a team of people that I will be overseeing my son’s “brace” experience. It really helps take the unknown and anxiety out of the process! Well done.

I completed my Invisalign treatment a few years ago at Apex's West Covina location, but being inconsistent and negligent with my final trays the last few years resulted in my bottom teeth beginning to overlap and crowd again. I noticed that when my teeth were straight I had less problems with food getting stuck in my teeth, but as they became more misaligned food started getting stuck frequently again! Ugh.
Anyway, my personal issues aside... I went to the new Whittier location because it slightly closer to me, but let me just say, I would drive far to go to Dr. Kim. She's personable

I am so happy I decided to start my braces treatment here. Let me first start off this review by saying I am an adult and I never had braces when I was a child. I started to notice a lot of crowding on my bottom front teeth recently, so I finally decided to take the plunge to start orthodontic treatment.
