Milford-Franklin Eye Center
As a managing partner of Milford-Franklin Eye Center I'd like to welcome you to our practice. We are New England's leading providers of Vision Health Services, with a dedicated staff of physicians, surgeons and optometrists. Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve, which is the part of the eye that carries the images we see from the eye to the brain.

Are you seeking facial cosmetic services? The cosmetics division at Milford-Franklin Eye Center has many options to help you feel refreshed and revitalized. This list of symptoms and possible eye problems is for general reference only and is not intended to diagnose any specific eye disease or condition.
Services
Having received best-in-the-class vision services from Milford Franklin Eye Center, this is how our patients rated us. We believe that your eyes deserve the best and we are proud to provide highly skilled comprehensive eye care and surgery to our local communities and serve each and every one of you as if you were a member of our families.
Dr. Roger Kaldawy is one of Massachusetts most prominent eye physicians and surgeons and the area's only full-time specialist in corneal diseases. Dr. Hatch earned bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from Boston University and Dartmouth College. Shazia Ahmed, MD graduated Magna cum Laude with Honors from Brown University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
We operate our own optical lab with ability to edge your lenses and get your glasses ready, in some cases, while you wait. Sixty percent of the 161 million Americans who wear prescription eyewear choose eyeglasses. Wearing eyeglasses is one of the simplest ways to correct vision problems. To see images clearly, light rays must focus directly on the retina, the light-sensitive nerve layer that lines the back of the eye.
Milford-Franklin Eye Center accepts a wide variety of major health insurance plans. Please call your insurance company to verify your specific plan's coverage. Not all plan types are accepted. It is advised that you call your insurance company before scheduling your visit to ensure your visit will be covered.
Please bring with you a photo ID, insurance card, referral (if needed), list of medications (including eye drops), and co-payment to every appointment. Sometimes insurance changes and we need to verify your eligibility. Also, bring your glasses and contact lenses. If you are new to the practice or are being seen for an annual exam, please allow 2 hours from the time you are checked in.
