Dr. Murray Baumal is an optometrist working within Choen's Fashion Optical. He attended the University of Cincinnati, where he majored in biology and is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University's College of Optometry Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He received residency training from the New England College of Optometry in the area of family eye care.
I am Doctor Murray Baumal, and I provide eye exams Monday through Saturday, with appointments available from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. We know people have busy schedules, and we will work with you to find an appointment day and time that works for you. We are always accepting new patients and it's easy to make an appointment.
As an eye doctor I believe a contact lens exam is successful when it provides the right result for the patient's lens-wearing needs and schedule. The questions I ask about how often you wear contacts helps me determine whether to use a single-use contact lense versus a reusable one. If you're uncomfortable in your current contact lenses, I'll work toward improving that situation.

If your glasses need adjusting to improve your comfort or vision, our expert opticians will fix them without charge. We welcome outside prescriptions. From basic to eclectic to high-end, our wonderful frame selection can accommodate any taste or budget.
Our office accepts most insurance plans from common vision care providers. These include Aetna, Allways health Partners, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, EyeMed, HarvardPilgrim HealthCare, NVA (National Vision Administrators), Spectera, Superior Vision, United Healthcare and more. We also accept vision insurance from several area colleges.
