Chestnut Ridge is a quiet, relaxing family campground offering camping, swimming and fishing. Nestled on 55 wooded acres in northeastern Ohio, conveniently located two miles north of I-80, Exit 234 Hubbard, halfway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland and right outside of Youngstown, Ohio. We've heard many wonderful stories from campers and visitors alike who have shared with us fond memories of how this park was an important part of their childhood.
If you are visiting for the first time, we welcome you. If you'd like to revisit and reminisce.

Nice location, super close to I80 for travelling, beautiful lake for swimming (mucky bottom - water shoes highly recommended) and fishing (catch and release only but we caught several.) Lots of playground equipment and a decent game room for the kids. Restrooms are a bit dated and could be a little smelly, not unusual for a campground, and no problem if you're travelling with an RV/trailer.
Cute tent sites across a bridge and segregated from the RVs if you're looking for tent camping.
NO CHECK-INS AFTER DARK.

Just love camping here. Very family friendly, grounds are very well kept up and bathroom are clean. Showers are nice also. You can also swim, fish, and rent a paddle boat for on the lake. Also has a game room.
You can feel safe and the speed limit is 5 mph to keep the people safe.
There is seasonal, RV, and tent camping spots. Each spot has plenty of room and you have a fire ring and picnic table. Just take a grate with you to cook over the fire ring.
They sell wood and ice there also. They have corn hole, horseshoes, basketball hoop, and a well kept playground.

This campground is really well kept it is clean with plenty of stuff for children and the whole family to do. When I was a kid they had all kinds of stuff to do in the water but they had to take everything out do to insurance reasons. I get it but people need to stop with this sue happy stuff believe it or not sometimes you get hurt and that doesn't mean you should sue someone it is getting ridiculous anymore. Ok I'm done with that this is a great campground and I would suggest this to anyone looking for a family friendly campground it is SAFE.
