The short story, I brought my Isuzu Trooper in to have the front axle boots replaced and they broke my Anti Lock Brake (ABS) system. The ABS dash light was NOT on when I brought it in but their technicians noticed it was on AFTER they completed replacing the axle boots. After trying to fix the ABS dash light being on (including replacing an ABS wheel sensor they said they "may" have broken) they told me to pick it up (with the ABS dash light still on) saying they wouldn't try fixing the problem any further with used ABS modules (which is all they could find), printing on the receipt

Came in thinking I needed brakes after being told so by the dealer at my previous service. Examined my car and told me they measured plenty of pad left and no need to get replacement pads. I decided to go ahead and have my oil changed which was coming due and the brake inspection was included in the oil change. I appreciated their honesty in not doing an unnecessary service.

Oh my gosh I can't say enough good things about this place and it's owner, Mark Benedict!!! If you need your car worked on, this is your GO-TO place!!! Not only did he give me the best deal in town but he persevered and found the correct battery for my hybrid when it looked like it was nowhere to be found. My Prius is running great and Mark got me back on the road in no time. Please support our small business owners and spread the word!!!

I will continue to have my cars serviced by Mark at Baughman & Turner. They are amazing.
Took my car in due to a major oil leak. The car is a Volvo, so first off typically expensive to work on and always requires a special tool to fix it. Well this was the case for our car, but not a problem for Mark. He ordered the special tool and got my car up and running. When we had this oil leak, it went everywhere. Not only did he clean/degrease the engine and get rid of all the oil, but he cleaned the back of my car where the oil flew up and got all over the window.

Needed a neighborhood hand with a torque on my wheels after replacing my tire. The man at the front desk was very angry and unhelpful. He also told me to shoo off cause he didn't have time for me. I recommend going to Terry's automotive instead, the management and mechanics were much more pleasant and responsive. So please don't go to Baughman & Turners if your looking for a helpful hand.

This auto repair shop does fine repairs. However, their customer service can be lacking especially when dealing with women. My husband & I have been coming here here for the past couple of years, the repairs so far have been good. As a woman I have dealt with unpleasant disrespectful cranky interactions with the owner/manager, my husband on the other hand has never experienced negativity from said person. This last week was especially unpleasant which prompted me to write this review. I would've given this shop two stars but as I said their repair work has been efficient and reliable.

My daughters Fiat 500 needed service and these guys were so helpful as I was arranging things from San Diego. They kept me in the loop each step of the estimate and repair process and were able to get everything done quickly and on budget. They even reset the oil change light and clock to the correct time. Customer service is awesome and they were very honest and trustworthy--not always what you see in the auto repair industry.

I took my 2004 F-150 with 200k miles in for a misfire. Mark said he would check it over with his computer. He then explained three different options. Get you back on the road (cheap). His recommendation (mid range). And he added a third option after talking with me about how long I wanted to keep the truck (expensive). Because I wanted to keep the truck another couple of years he suggested a full tuneup because it would save me $400 in the long run. Thanks Mark

After being told by the local Ford dealership in Buena Park if I brought my car in on Friday they would not even be able to get to it until next week, I called Baughman & Turner and spoke with Mark who said be here when we open on Friday and we will get you taken care of. I only have a couple of days in which I could get a ride and be without a car due to work so I could not wait for weeks as the other dealership offered.
I was called by 10:00 am with what they found was wrong with my car and by 1:30 pm my car was ready for pick up.

I came to get a valve adjustment, in which they replace the oil cover gasket. 2 months later I had an oil leak, which they didn't even offer to look at. So I went to another shop, and it was the oil cover gasket that needed to be replaced. I tried talking to them to see what we can do about this since it was obviously their fault, and they wanted nothing to do with this. I filed a complaint against them with the BAR, and THEY LIED TO THEM. Told them I refused to leave my car there, when I told them I was free all day and was going on a road trip that week so I needed a reliable

We have been taking our cars to this company for several decades. They are honest, excellent mechanics who charge a fair price and never try to pressure you into extra work. My husband, who is very mechanically adept and could do much of the car maintenance and repair work himself (and who hates to pay others to do such work), never hesitates to send the car into B&T whenever our cars need work because he knows they'll fix it and give him the straight scoop on what repairs the car needs. Highly recommend!

I started taking my car to them for maintenance. They do such a great job I now take all three cars we own to them. They never try to get you to do unnecessary work or repairs unlike the Acura dealership I used to go to. The are really convenient if you take the train to LA because you can drop it off in the morning and it is ready when you get off the train to go home. I would highly recommend them.
