Services
Is not often that you find a shop that claims to specialize in one specific brand of car and is able to back up their claim with all the years of experience and the proper credentials attesting to their true expertise.
Manfred Seeger worked from 1964 - 1973 for VW, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz, and then 14 years with the Saddleback Valley Imports BMW Dealer (presently Irvine BMW) as a BMW - Certified Master Technician, and as shop foreman.John Nikitscher graduated from automotive professional school in Germany and worked for the Porsche factory racing team for 4 years.

From simple oil changes to Factory Regularly Scheduled Maintenance, to Major Engine and Transmission work, we can save you hundreds of dollars throughout the year over any Dealership. No middle men here, you deal directly with the owners at every phase of the estimate and repair, nothing gets lost in the translation.
Most automotive professionals disapprove of extending the interval between oil and filter changes beyond 5,000 miles. We recommend that at least one oil and filter change be performed between the Inspection and Oil Services. Play it safe with Pre-Purchase Inspection We perform a very thorough Pre-Purchase Inspection and inform our clients how the car they are considering buying is different from when it was new.

I have a mechanical background and have done most of the service on my own vehicles. I went through most the reviews for this shop and the only two negative reviews obviously don't understand typical shop procedures. BMW's typically have specific items that have problems that occur within each model and year. Experienced mechanics using their knowledge replace parts and sometimes it is a process of elimination. Overall because of their specified knowledge they get it right on the first attempt. Sometimes not. I have a new late model BMW that I took to Rob and he took great care in servicing my

Rob, maintain and take care of all our Bimmers for the last 4 years. Honest. Direct. Trusted, knowledgable, goes out of his way to get our cars done on time and dedicated Business owner. I got to know his Dad too.
I recommend his workmanship very much. Blessed to know that our cars are been taken care of very well.
He has a collection of Bimmers. His prices are very reasonable.

I dont take my M to anywhere but this place. Rob will be honest with you and will save you tons of money when you have a problem with your BMW. I've been coming here for last 5 years and he has not disappointment me once. I am not saying this to impress the shop. The guy is so genuine and you will be happy not overpaying money on somewhere else fixing your vehicle. Just give them a call and you will be totally satisfied with the work.

I normally go to the BMW dealership for servicing but my office is 25 miles away. This morning when I pulled into work I noticed the oil lamp indicator on so I Googled the closest BMW specialist and found Bavarian Autotech's Inc. called and spoke with Rob who said to bring it in. Within 5 minutes after arriving, Bob quickly checked and determined all it needed was an oil top-off. The whole visit was less than 10 minutes and Rob was both attentive and courteous. All the positive Yelp reviews are right about this place and I'm adding mine too. I'll be bringing in my auto to Bavarian Autotech's Inc

I took my '95 318is here for an oil/fluid leak that was getting nasty junk all over my engine, I was happy with some things and not with others.
Good: The owner is very friendly and took me out to my car while he looked for the leak. He told me what he could do and was very upfront. He seemed like he knew his stuff and the shop seemed well run and clean. He told me about how he goes to Germany each year and told me about his pics of Germany on the walls. Seemed like a real Beemer lover.
Bad: He told me it could be the crankshaft seal or the power steering lines and that he could replace them

I own bmws specifically for they guys. When my current car gives out, I'll be buying another bmw. I wouldnt want to take my car anywhere else.
Rob is honest, will tell you what needs to be done AND what doesnt need to be done. He does his best to save you money.
I'm not the most trusting individual when it comes to mechanics (I'm a young female and dont know much about cars so people try to rip me off all the time), but I never have to worry with Rob and Manfred. They're the best.

If you want a no-nonsense mechanic who knows BMW's very well, then try Rob at Bavarian Auto Techs. I came here after trying several other mechanics who were supposed to know what they were doing. In this age of do-it-yourself videos being readily available online, I will only trust a pro with the Master Technician designation with my BMW.

I've been coming here for years to get my BMW serviced. They consistently save me 25% versus what the dealer would charge. I like that they tell me what NEEDS to be done, what SHOULD be done and what can wait until later. There's never an upsell because they know their honest service will bring you back. And you're always dealing with one of the owners who also does the diagnosis and repairs.
