The building at 1504 Malone is a total loss. Fortunately, fire did not reach the second building which saved the business offices, stockroom and classroom. Fortune and perseverance has given us the opportunity to once again serve the North Texas community. We may be down, but we're not out. With hard work and the generous support of the community and customers, Denton Sewing Center is once again open for business.
We've converted the classroom to the showroom and the stock room now houses the service department complete with Paul and Jason. Everyday, we receive new machines and sewing/embroidery essentials. Our hours have not changed and the sales staff is ready to serve you. Denton Sewing Center has been part of the North Texas community for 34 years and we look forward to continuing the tradition.

Services
Denton Sewing Center is a family owned & operated multi-line sewing machine dealership. Our services include sales of top quality sewing machines and sergers, onsite service of home sewing machines and sergers, new owner machine operation classes, and group classes on sewing, quilting, serging, embroidery and embroidery software.
Classes begin at 10:00am, but optimum arrival is at 9:30am. Being on a city street, this new location requires a more precise protocol when arriving and departing the classroom. If no assistance with machines and luggage is required, you can park in the city parking lot that is next to the building complex and walk to the classroom.

They are open in the lovely, bright back building. Walking past the murals of well-wishes from the community to get to the shop tells you pretty much everything you need to know about this place.
I am new to sewing and you could probably sell me ANYTHING related to it. I just have no idea what I’m looking at, or what anything does, and would therefore be a very easy gullible customer. I came in here to purchase accessories for a machine I upgraded to and Paul actually talked me OUT of buying a pack that had a wonderful discount on it, but would still have come out to well over $100, because

Before making the 2 hour drive to have my machine serviced, I read the reviews and felt a little hesitant, as I am in my 30’s and FULL of tattoos. BUT Jason really took care of me! He was very down to earth and fixed more than asked on my machine. I would highly recommend to anyone and, I myself will be taking my machines there from now on! Thanks Jason!

I have 2 embroidery machines. One, I dropped the needle plate screw into the bottom of the machine while cleaning the bobbin area, the second, I forgot to change the needle and the thread shredded and got caught in the works. I went to one store to get them fixed and it would have taken 3 weeks and a lot of money to get them looked at & fixed. I took them to Denton Sewing and they took care of them both right away and only charged me $20 a machine. Now I'm happily embroidering again. Thank you so much!!!! They are so kind and friendly.

I’ve been here twice in the last couple weeks and both people that helped me were so great! The first time they found a damaged part on my machine and helped me find the model number to get it replaced since he didn’t have it in stock. The second time was simply a needle issue. I couldn’t be more thankful for their assistance!

Wow-these guys are on the money!
My MIL needed her machine adjusted, as she sews cage pads for the Lake Dallas Animal Shelter. (Those poor puppies have to sleep on the cold concrete without these pads!) We needed to get them done.
MIL explained we would have to leave the machine there and pick it up next week, most probably.
But we pulled in and Steven was right there to bring in the machine. (!)
He looked at it for about 20 seconds and he went right to the problem. Another few seconds and another little thing-we were in and out in no time at all. Lovely, knowledgeable staff. I am so pleased

I got a new (to me) machine from a friend and was having some trouble with it so I took it to Denton Sewing Center for a little look-see. My problem was obviously user error; not only did Andrea not make me feel dumb for it, but she actually took the time to educate me about all the new feet I had acquired (and I quote: "Ooh we're playing Name That Foot!"). She made me feel much more comfortable and capable with my machine, and I left feeling much more confident in my abilities. I will probably never take my machine anywhere else!

I was helped by the owner yesterday. He was super helpful and gave me great advice while solving an issue with my machine. Charged me a fair price. Huge inventory from $200 to $20,000 machines. Something for everyone. I could tell that the owner loves doing what he does for a living. I look forward to going back and enjoying the great atmosphere and chatting with the owners again more again sometime.
