Amazing customer service. The wait to fix machines was very long and one of the associates graciously took 10minutes to help my daughter fix her tension and get her machine working so she could finish a project. Loyal customers from here on out! Wonderful place!

Moved to Plano right before the pandemic, of course started sewing while stuck at home. :) My 1960s-era Singer machine had the needle quit moving into position (L-R-Center) with the lever, and I needed to find a reliable repair place locally as I didn't want to travel over an hour back to the guy my Mother had used for years. The Plano Sewing Center came highly recommended, and they're right down the road from me, so I stopped in.
I can't say enough good things about them. Everyone there was super friendly and knows their stuff. Every technician I have spoken with there seems to be very knowledgeable

So thankful for this shop. Something was up with my machine after watching a dozen YouTube videos I could not get my machine to work properly. Walked in, said “help please” 5 mins later, fixed! So grateful! Great shop with some fabulous machines as well. Thank you!!!

Plano sewing center is a bsolutely one of a kind top notch! They are so knowledgeable and nice.
We had a problem with our sewing machine. When we called for an appointment, the nice man on the phone tried to help us fix it without having to drive out there. We had a hard time explaining. So we brought the machine to them. They fixed it in 5 minutes!! And it was free of charge ! We were speechless. Plano Sewing center is the best.
Ps. We had called 2 other repair places the same day and they both wanted to keep our sewing machine overnight for that repair.

This store is the definition of an exceptional small business. The staff was very friendly, going to the trouble of spending an hour showing my daughter how to use the machine we bought for her. She is really looking forward to her first class here!

I always get great service at Plano Sewing Center! I went looking to buy a new sewing machine, the lady showed me what they have & what the differences were between each one.
I was put on a waiting list & recently received my new sewing machine! I was given a commentary introduction lesson to my new machine & I'm so excited to get started on my sewing projects!

Super friendly employees when I called to talk about my machine issues. One lady even talked me through some troubleshooting tips while we were on the phone. I did wind up having to take it in anyway, and the guy that checked me in (socially distanced) was so friendly and polite. They’re busier than usual due to all the new mask-makers needing to get their machines lubed after sitting in spare closets for years, but it certainly hasn’t affected their attitudes or their quality of service. Much appreciated.

I'm looking to buy a machine I've been to several places. But Plano Sewing Center made the difference. I've stated my price range and was shown great machines in that range. I was not set down at at the most expensive machine in the shop that's actually happened before. The sales rep Lori she was awesome she listened to what I knew Lori was trying to make a sell however she was doing more education than selling. I didn't buy a machine but I definitely know what shop to do the service or where to buy my cabinet. No matter what machine I buy, I'll definitely be going back. She really made the difference

I took my Singer Confidence Quilter into Plano Sewing Center to get it fixed. My needle and bobbin were out of time and I couldn't fix it myself. They gave me a call and explained that they could fix it, but it would probably break again with the type of work I was doing on that machine (heavier twills, denim, upholstery fabric). Darrell was extremely helpful in offering a different machine (1950s singer) that would hold up to the work I was doing. It was fairly inexpensive for how great it works! Thanks for offering a great solution! I love my *new to me* machine.

Just went in for the first time. Warm friendly staff. The owner sat down with me and looked at my machine. Tested the machine, re threaded it and told me what I needed to do so the problem wouldn't happen again. A+ on customer service.

I got a rolled hem foot here, and was looking to get a circle foot for a project. One of the gals showed me a better way to sew circles that didn't involve buying a nearly $200 foot for my machine. They're great here

So very happy to have found this place! They were so nice & friendly & helpful, they looked at my broken machine & fixed it quickly on the spot & showed me how to repair it if it ever happened again! Thank you so much!

They are the best!!! I have 3 machines and wouldn't take them anywhere else for service/repairs!! If you are looking for sewing or embroidery machine, this is the BEST place to go shop.

I'm not at all a sewing machine expert. I took my machine to the Plano sewing center to have repairs hoping they could help. After looking it over with me, a very nice lady showed me I was simply threading it wrong & had placed my needle in incorrectly. She didn't charge me for the help and was incredibly, beyond helpful. I'm making plans to attend one of their in-house sewing classes.

My only complaint: The gentleman I had spoke with over the phone prior to arriving had some strong words to say about my sewing machine brand. Telling me that he hates working on them because

The owner was very friendly and nice to doing business with. The ladies at the store were very helpful too. The store is under construction and remodeling, it's roomy and very nice. They take trade-in and they offer machine services. I am happy to find a sewing place in my area.

In addition to being super nice, Darrel is a life-saver!! He repaired an old Brother (gasp) machine I had in 5 seconds and then proceeded to check the whole machine and explain a few things to me that I wasn't aware of. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I dislke sewing and do it rarely but the machines they have in their store could entice you to buy....wow, are they cool!

Wonderful shop, wonderful help. ABOVE and beyond nice. My last sewing machine was a Singer from 1974. Needless to say times have changed and I could not even formulate an intelligent question let alone have the slightest clue what I needed. I knew I wanted to sew, and I knew I wanted to try embroidery and I knew I did not want to spend thousands of dollars. They listened to what I said, and showed me two different machines. My Brother machine began freaking out right in the middle of making a quilt for my soon to be born nephew. Being relatively new to the area, I was not familiar with local sewing repair shops. So, I hopped online and found two options. One was an official Brother dealer. I called and the woman that answered the phone was incredibly rude from the start; not giving my money to her! I called the Sewing Center and was immediately impressed by the niceness of the woman who answered the phone. She told me to bring it in and they could look at it for free! I went, originally, to Plano Sewing Center to look for an embroidery machine for my wife's business. I know nothing of this equipment, and they were awesome!
They are helpful to a fault, informative and supportive.
I recommend this business to anyone and everyone, no matter their level of expertise!

Upon entering, several individuals greeted me (& with a smile). -uncommon!-

My quasi-ignorant but mostly misinformed questions were met with humor and the wisdom of experience. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the "young lady" who was helping me; she was quite patient with my questions and even took the time to show me how to use a few of the machines. I'd left feeling confident that if I chose to take any classes or purchase a machine that i'd be in good hands.
