Really nice people and cool wood products. I wanted some live-edge shelves but I didn't want to buy them from Home Depot or World Market. I was super glad to find this place was right nearby. The owner knew exactly where the perfect board was and they cut it for me for a totally reasonable extra charge. It was about the same price or even slightly cheaper than I would have spent at a big box store. I did do the polyurethane coating myself, but the place also offers more finished-type products if you don't want to do the work. Super neat small business that I will definitely support in the future

So glad we found this place ! Beautiful wood for a mantle shelf my husband made - gorgeous wood grain and very reasonable price. The selection of both live edge and traditional cut was the best we'd found. We bought one of their finishes to use as their samples looked so good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and they did some initially cutting and planing for us, which we didn't have equipment for. Loved the finished tables and bench they had on hand , especially the waterfall edged one. Think we'll go back and buy wood for to build some more !

Just worked with Erica to select some white oak to replace a compression post on a wood sailboat. She was able to find pieces that should work just perfectly, without leaving a lot of waste, saving me a bunch of money versus the lengths I had been able to find elsewhere. She was very patient and thorough as she moved around the shop looking through their huge inventory to help find me the best fit for my project. I really appreciated her product knowledge. All in all a great experience.

I was searching for live-edge, raw planks to build a table out of... I wasn't sure what I was getting into to build a dining room table, but I knew I wanted to do it. Room and Board had beautiful versions of what I wanted, but came at a steep 3K price, entry level... so I thought, lets make a labor of love and build our own.
