Monteverde at Oldstone is located in Cortlandt Manor in Westchester County, New York, originally built by the Van Cortlandt family circa 1760. Rich with history and set majestically overlooking the Hudson River, Monteverde at Oldstone is less than a one hour drive from Manhattan. Beautifully appointed and historically restored, the mansion seamlessly integrates the charm and elegance of its past with today's modern luxuries.
The mansion features three dining rooms; The Grand Dining Room, The Veranda Dining Room and The Governors' Dining Room each with spectacular river views. On warm summer evenings, guests are welcome to dine on our outdoor patios, or underneath a 100 year old grape arbor adjacent to The Mansion with breathtaking vistas.

Our natural setting has all the elements that brides look for in a venue; incredible Hudson River views, rolling lawns, a sweeping stone staircase, and an outdoor stone patio - all surrounding a beautiful historic mansion. Tucked away on its West Lawn is our grand Tent Pavilion that can seat up to 350 people for a sit down dinner and 450 people for a cocktail reception.
Tours are provided Monday- Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and on select weekends by appointment only. An appointment is required to tour the grounds. All appointments must be scheduled by 5:00 p.m. on Friday for the weekend. The event office is closed on the weekends. If you need to cancel or re-schedule a tour, please call the cell phone # that was provided in your confirmation email.

A hidden gem! We had a wonderful stay along with an amazing dinner and breakfast! Our room was gorgeous overlooking the Hudson. Dinner was creative and delicious, paired with interesting and unique wines. Sunday morning breakfast continued our culinary experience...starting with a delicious and unique coffee flight! We were blown away by the food and service! We will definitely be going back (Soon I hope!)

We lucked out by having the most beautiful weather the day of our wedding, so we were able to have the ceremony outside on Monteverde's gorgeous grounds. From top to bottom, the venue, their catering, preparation and service were top notch - Mary Ellen is so organized and made sure my husband, our families and I were well taken care of, and that our vendors were set up for success. Our guests were in awe of the venue and kept asking how we found it, I feel really lucky they had a date available during our August-October time frame! Not surprised the venue is so in demand.

Chef Eric kicked it out of the park yesterday! A fantastic and well thought out wine dinner for 10 in the magnificent dining room overlooking the Hudson. The chef paired his four-course dinner to our wine theme with each course reflecting Northern Italy’s influences. Steak tartare, organic farm fresh egg, hazelnut oil from italy, shaved parmesan ;… Braised Duck leg in barolo lentil stew ; Barolo braised veal Osso Bucco, polenta fermented mushrooms grilled rapini, pickled chili and golden raisins for mains and, topping it off gluten free Hazelnut cake, 18 yr Italian balsamic vinegar

Had a stellar dinner, very attentive staff. Ray the manager, a very gracious gentleman, gave us the royal treatment and some very interesting history about the place.He also is very knowledgeable about the wines served.
I highly recommend this heavenly place for dining or any kind of wedding or affair you may have in mind, it is the perfect place to be!
Definitely worth the drive from CT.!!
