The firm was established by David B. Vail in response to the plight of the injured and disabled. Since 1977, the firm has remained dedicated to being a voice for those unable to advocate for themselves. Our practice specializes in Workers' Compensation claims, Social Security Disability claims, and Personal Injury cases.
The Law Office of David B. Vail and Associates has developed a reputation for taking on the hard cases that other law firms turn away. David built his firm on the philosophy that he and his employees pursue for each client the benefits and compensation they are entitled to. The Firm's philosophy is based upon the desire that each of our clients survive financially and emotionally.

Washington State's workers' compensation system was founded in 1911 with the sole purpose of delivering "sure and certain relief to injured workers by reducing to a minimum their suffering and economic loss." The system was designed to provide no-fault industrial insurance coverage for most employers and workers in Washington State either through the State Fund or self-insurance for companies with at least $25 million in assets.
What do you do if you are unable to work due to injury or illness? Should you file for Social Security? If you file for Social Security what is the difference between Social Security Disability and Social Security Supplemental Income? What information needs to be provided? What do you do if you miss a deadline?
Our Personal Injury Practice was born as a result of our representation of the injured and disabled. In the state of Washington you cannot sue your employer or co-worker for injuries sustained at work. If you were injured by someone who is not a coworker or a defective product or machine you may have a third party case.

Extreme unprofessionalism! If you are unfortunate enough to speak with one of their team members named Danielle, she will not stop putting food in her mouth long enough to take your information. She'll give you the run around and re-ask questions you just gave the answer to something unrelated. Once you say the same thing again, she gets short with you and explains something not really relevant about your case to cover up her lack of knowledge. She sure knows how to work a microwave though! In between her chewing you'll hear her working that oven and paying attention to her food and not you. Plan

12 years WASTED! Lost my case, all the way to the 9th circuit court, and dropped!! Now, because they did not tell me when I had severe ptsd, to get character witnesses, when having a severe, anaphylactic allergic reaction to sulfa based antibiotics and the ignorant ER dr at madigan said I was on a drug. This misdiagnosis OVER AND OVER FALSE POSITIVE-klonopin with Effexor combined together, could have killed me with the severe fluid loss with the sulfa antibiotic I took for my upper respiratory infection. Due to this DRUG ALLEGATION, that were prescribed meds when my family member died, my family

I filed a claim with L@I in 2014. The claim was rejected, so I decided I should talk with an attorney. Mr. Vail got the claim accepted. I was granted the surgery to stabilize my neck and time-loss compensation. Jennifer Cross then got me a disability pension.
Through the process, Phiona, the paralegal, kept me informed and answered any questions I had. Everybody was very professional and pleasant to work with.

Communication was great. Rachel was accessible, knowledgeable , and very competent. Jennifer Cross did an excellent job. Everything was done very professionally and in a timely manner. We were very satisfied with the outcome and would definitely use them again if needed.
