Previous to establishing Tangent, Alvis was a Director and Principal at Slayton International, one of the top 10 retained search firms in Chicago and a leader in manufacturing and supply chain executive search. Before Slayton, Alvis was a founder and Vice President of MorganWorks which used traditional "bricks and mortar" execution as well as online strategies to create "one of a kind" staffing strategies for their clients.
