Whether you are struggling with chronic pain, have suffered an injury or just want to maintain wellbeing in your body, therapeutic massage can help you truly thrive, naturally. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Oregon since 2011. I am a transgender woman and proud to provide a safe space for all persons to receive massage therapy, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.
Goal-oriented massage treatment focused specifically on reducing pain, increasing range of motion, and helping bridge the gap between mind and body awareness. Sessions can be unclothed with draping or fully clothed to meet your level of comfort. Each session will begin with a brief interview to help us identify your wants and needs for the treatment.

I have been an Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist since 2011. I found my passion for massage therapy after my own transformative experience with a wonderful therapist in SE Portland. After years of cycling, working at a desk and a poor self-care regimen, I had lost touch with my body.
Massage helped me reconnect with and work through patterns of tension in my body, and helped me to regain a sense of stability and a greater ease of movement that I was not even aware I had lost.I knew right then that I wanted to help other people find that sense of ease in their own bodies. I went to school at EastWest College, one of the largest and highly regarded massage schools in Oregon.

Massage Therapists are skilled practitioners that can help relieve muscle tension that leads to painful movement. By addressing the soft tissues in the body you relieve tension on the joints and the bones allowing the body greater freedom of movement. A lifetime of use and sometimes abuse of our bodies compounds over the course of our lives, and being creatures of habit, we develop patterns within our bodies that can become imbalanced.
Many of my clients are affected by a range of chronic and acute pain conditions, from rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia to car accident injuries and more. Even the repetitive, sedentary postures of everyday life-such as sitting at a desk for long hours each day-can create stress, tension and pain in the body.

Rachel Kaurman is a truly gifted massage therapist who has helped both myself with a hamstring injury as well as several of my patients. Rachel can help diagnose problems with muscles and help find the underlying cause for the pain. Rachel has helped several of my patients decrease their pain and get back to being active again!

A shout-out this morning for Thrive Therapeutic Massage!!! As always, AWESOME but yesterday he worked specifically on my neck and Holy Smokes!!!! The dramatic range of motion afterward was remarkable!!! Went in with approx 30% right-to-left range I'd say. Left with at least a solid 80%. Blew me totally away!!! If you've got issues (neck, shoulder, back, etc) you'd be smart to do YOURSELF a favor and get in touch Ryan.

Ryan is highly professional, incredibly knowledgeable and very thoughtful and caring -- making him a great fit for this work. I was having intense tailbone area pain that was sending sciatic nerve pain down the back of my thigh, and after he worked on me my pain level went from about a 7-8 to a 2-3. The back pain subsided right away, and the nerve pain was gone within a few hours. I felt so relieved. For someone like me with a lifelong chronic pain disease (rheumatoid arthritis), his therapy feels like a lifesaver.
