Founded by Rich and Wendy Christensen in 1998, the first shop that began it all is our South Tahoe location. After a successful few years Rich felt the need to expand to the Carson Valley and opened the Gardnerville location in 2001 and then again in Carson City in 2008. In the year 2012, we opened our Reno location.
Whether you have a single company car or an entire fleet our ASE Certified technicians can provide all of your automotive repair and maintenance needs from Factory recommended services, tires and wheel alignments, diesel repairs and services, to engine and transmission repairs on all makes and models, both foreign and domestic.
Extreme temperatures are tough on batteries. Heat causes the water/acid mixture in the battery to evaporate quickly and winter is tough on batteries, for a few reasons: When the mercury rises, a car battery's strength goes down. Extreme heat, like 95 degrees F outside combined with high temperatures under the hood, accelerates corrosion.

I went in on Monday afternoon. I told Jay Jay I needed to drive to LA Tuesday morning and my AC just died. He said it would be 90 mins to 2 hours and quoted a reasonable price. It was ready in 90 mins. He had charged up the AC, added some dye so he could check for a leak when I got back. He said since I said I was driving to LA, he had checked and topped my fluids at no charge. Also suggested I go and buy some 50/50 coolant to take, just in case. He was soooo nice, and very professional. I said he must be the proprietor....it must be his business..... He smiled and said he was not. If you ARE the

I took my auto in for a Smog Test and had a couple other things checked out while I was there. Can't say Enough how Satisfied I am with my choice of going to Christensen Automotive. I was in and out within 30 minutes. I did call to confirm what was the best time to arrive. The Staff were All Very Professional and Polite.

Just changed ownership. Formerly AA Automotive.
I have been robbed! I have never NEVER paid this much for an oil change. There are other issues as to why I actually went through with the transaction but this is absolutely ridiculous.
Their customer service is suspect and no one wants to accept responsibility. "Oh, who did you talk to, when did you call, was it a male or female...?"
Once I settle down I will follow up with pricing and find out about customer service.
I'm hoping to edit this post after I follow up.
