Just called looking for a trailer. Person on the phone was incredibly rude! Very condescending to tell me that manufacturers aren't making trailers because we're in the middle of the pandemic and they have no trailers. A simple "no we don't have any inventory at this time" would have sufficed. If you're having a bad day or upset because you don't have any inventory, don't take it out on some guy on the phone. I don't care when trailers are available, I will NOT ever call these people again.

I have been going here for years but lately I have been just renting small trailers for a fridge or trees etc.... In the past I have purchased trailers which were great. The service is perfect. Their knowledge is amazing. They will help you troubleshoot and know what you need for the job. I recently rented a uhaul trailer of the same size and it was terrible. Clunky, wobbly, didn't seem safe. The same one at Tom's I rented twice and you couldn't even feel it behind my car. What's a difference. Cheaper too quite honestly. Don't even try uhaul after renting here! No comparison

My first and hopefully last time going into Tom’s. I don’t know much about trailers but I can get by. But Margaret talked to me as if I was wasting her time and being a nuisance.
She took a phone call from a customer, which is understandable, and proceeded to swear on the phone talking to him about a backordered trailer. Then she hands me the receipt and doesn’t say anything to me. Not even a “thank you”. Turns away from me as if she was already done with me.

I called toms trailers to see if they had a spare tire and rim I needed. The man i spoke with said yes and told me the price. I drove an hour to get down there only to be told a different price. When I questioned it the old lady got extremely rude, vulgar, and threw my credit card at me and told me to get out in not so nice words. She said you cant find these anywhere ill charge what i want to. GO ANYWHERE BUT TOMS TRAILERS!!

I called to see if they carried a tire size for my trailer. The receptionist informed me that they were back ordered on the specific size I need. I asked if she had a sense of when they would be available and the receptionist laughed at me for asking. She then used a condescending tone to inform me that they carry over four thousand tires and wouldn't answer my question. My experience with the customer service was very poor.

I am amazed that this company is still in business. The owner's wife is one of the rudest professionals I have ever done business with. My husband has done business with Tom, the owner multiple times over the last many years. Since he's taken ill, his wife has now become involved and obviously knows nothing about customer service. We took our trailer in for a maintenance check and was told it should be done in approximately 10 days. As we approached the 10 days, my husband called for a status update. He was given an estimated completion day and called back again on that date, at 8:30am, to confirm

Went in looking for some very old coupler parts, even surprised the woman there that I found it in their junk pile! Large selection of used tires and rims(great for a spare), couplers, jacks, bunks, etc., all reasonably priced. Glad I found them!

We rented a 16ft enclosed trailer from Tom's a couple of years ago to move garage items from out of state. It was a good trailer and a good experience.
I called them today to rent another smaller trailer for a similar use. I am picking up a rebuilt engine from out of state and wanted an enclosed trailer. The lady who answered the phone told me an enclosed trailer wouldn't work for that purpose because you couldn't put an engine into the trailer from the rear opening. She then told me they didn't have any trailers for rent.
If you want useless opinions this is your go to place, if you want a trailer

The reason I'm giving it a 2 star is that the first person I talked to was very helpful when I asked him about new and used utility trailers. After I went out into the lot to look at what they had, i came back inside with more questions. I did not get the same person but a new sales person. At first she was a little helpful but as I asked more questions she came across as if she didn't care I was there and to me she was a real "B"! I should have handed back the sheet of paper I was given by the first person and said if this is how you treat a customers good luck selling any
