We share our home year-round with fellow mountain and river lovers and have been doing so for over 35 years. We are located just off the Appalachian Trail and at the "take-out" along the Nolichucky River Gorge, which surrounds us with gorgeous views at the base of Unaka Mountain. After your day's adventures, you can camp out in tents under the stars or stay in a cabin with all of the comforts of home (including air conditioning and wifi).
We offer hot showers and restrooms for all guests in the public shower house (cleaned several times daily) and wi-fi access near the office. BYO marshmallows to roast by the fire. Thousands of wilderness acres are just out the back door, plus eight miles of class three to class four whitewater rapids are right outside our front door.

This used to be a wonderful campground for the family but the greed and gossip has changed this place so much I don't even recognize it anymore. I would have recommended this place to everyone 3 years ago but since the owner changed it has gotten horrible not even close to the same experience it used to be,it's a shame that such a beautiful piece of hidden heaven has been turned into a commercial feeding frenzy. I would recommend going next door to USA raft that's the way camping should be the staff are wonderful and will go outta there way to do anything to make your stay the best it can be and

We stayed at the Lilly Pad. View was beautiful! Unfortunately there was a yellow jacket nest in the wall of the cabin!! The gnats were so bad you could not sit outside. No one was in the office the entire week! $125 per night was waaaaayyyy too much. Maybe $75. VERY rustic. VERY little Wifi, very little cell coverage. Pond in front of cabin has no fish, no running water and LOTS of gnats and mosquitos. Small A/C unit made LOTS of noise all day and night. Cabin was end unit of a wood working shop, woodworkers very nice. Loved the chickens, just not when they jumped on the picnic table to eat lunch

If I could give this zero stars I would. I have been coming here for years. The workers that I talked to were extremely rude and were not friendly at all. I don’t know what has happened to this place but it is not as nice and as welcoming as it once used to be. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back again. It’s a shame such a beautiful place would be crawling with such hateful people. Hope this review helps. :)

This campground could be one of the best kept outdoor paradise secrets in the Tri-Cities. Every camp spot is on the river and has an epic view. Campground is clean and free from trash and looks updated and better every season. Stayed in the Rustic cabin 1. Again it had a great view of the Noli from porch. Cabin was well equipped with comfy beds a heater, a/c unit, small fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Water in front of unit is conveniently located. Bathroom and showers clean/dry floors and well stocked and centrally located. Camp staff is very professional and efficient, and are always looking

Stayed last week, but had several questions prior to arrival, and Danielle, was both efficient on the phone and very helpful upon arrival! Cabin was nice and did I mention the view? The view of the Nolichucky from the cabin was amazing. The grounds themselves were well maintained and offered plenty of healthy trails to walk as you take in the great scenery. Highly recommend staying and I will definitely be back. 😃

I am so disappointed in the unprofessional way you handled our reservation. We booked a spot for a full week and paid in full two months ago. I even called just last week to confirm our arrival. And then, we arrived today to find that you double-booked our spot and the way you were going to make it right was to allow us to pull up in the grass tonight for free and then make us move again in the morning???? Shame on you!
