AGAR Machining & Welding, Inc. is a versatile job shop with expertise in low to mid-volume, quick turnaround contract machining, welding, fabricating and machine building. Established in 1986 and located in Pawtucket, RI in a 13,000 sq ft climate-controlled building with 10 employees. Operating a combination of CNC and conventional machine tools.

Along with contract parts manufacture, AGAR also builds pharmaceutical processing equipment, ASME approved pressure vessels, jigs and fixtures, tools and dies and assorted machinery. Services such as prototype development, reverse engineering, design drafting, and machine rebuilding and repair are available.

AGAR Machining & Welding specializes in the process and fabrication of a wide range of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, mild steels and plastics. Our fabrication can range from small parts to large machine assemblies. Our precision welding technologies include the use of MIG, TIG, Flux Core and Electrode welding.
AGAR Machining & Welding machinists are highly skilled and utilize cutting edge CNC machines. Our machine shop is over 13,000 square feet and houses all our machining equipment. Our CNC machining equipment includes vertical and horizontal mills, medium and small production CNC lathes, a large planer mill, grinders, boring mills, and other related machine shop equipment.
