Terrace View Rooms are our most economical rooms. Our first floor Oceanfront Standard Rooms are a little bit pricier and our second floor Oceanfront Premium Rooms are our most expensive rooms with the best ocean views. We found Seaside Inn accidentally; walked in, got a great rate; meant to stay only one night but stayed two.
We have three waterfront Cottages and Houses adjacent to our property that we rent for the individual owners. My wife and I came up here to celebrate our one year anniversary and our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The owners and the staff are very wonderful and gracious.

Trish and Ken Mason are America's only 9th Generation Innkeepers. Trish's family has been innkeepers at The Seaside since 1756, nine generations going back to her great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather Jedidiah Gooch who bought the inn from a cousin. As was the custom at the time, the Inn was passed down for generations to the first-born son.
The Seaside Inn is located at the head of the Kennebunk River directly on Kennebunk Beach. Owned and operated by the same family for 9 generations, on your first visit you will know you have discovered a truly special place. The Seaside Inn is a 22 unit Oceanfront Inn, located directly on a beautiful stretch sand beach.
The Seaside Inn is located at the junction of Beach Avenue and Kennebunk Beach! We are directly on Kennebunk Beach and just one mile from Dock Square with its unique shops, restaurants and galleries. Exit #25 Directions: Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) North to Kennebunk Exit 25. Go left on 35 and left again on 35 back across the Maine Turnpike.
Our rates vary based upon room type selected and season. Midweek rates are generally less expensive than weekend rates. Winter season offers the least expensive season and our most affordable rates. Summer is our highest demand season and Spring and Fall rates are moderate between peak summer and off season.

Great value in the winter. The building needs a new roof, and an interior staircase would be usefull during the snowy months, and the bathrooms are outdated but I will gladly stay here again. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and on the beach side there are sliding glass doors onto a private balcony with one of the closest ocean views you can find off of a cruise ship. You can hear the surf and smell the water. I love that personally. There's also an outdoor second floor hot tub with a view. Breakfast is included but Mike's All Day Breakfast is a mile or two down the street, as well as Mornings

This is a very cute, convenient and home like residence. The view of the ocean and easy access to the beach is awesome. The hot tub on the balcony outside is an awesome way to relax. The muffins that you get are delicious, be sure to save some for others.
Continental breakfast is good and has other flavors of muffins, all taste good. There are plenty of sights within walking, biking and short driving distance.
They have done a great job, even through tough times. If you are nearby and want a comfortable place to stay, away from the crowd but with easy access to it.

Great stay at Sea Side Inn! The owners and staff were extremely generous and hospitable. Location is prime. The inn itself is charming, beds were comfy, and my room was clean. Don't miss out on the homemade muffins, bike rentals, hot tub, and walks on the beach just steps from the hotel. Customer service was great...I ran out of conditioner and a staff worker lent me their personal bottle! Any place ran for over 9 generations has to be doing something right :) I will be back!

A gracious, quiet, clean, peaceful, magical Inn-located right on ocean!
Great staff who care. A nice breakfast included with homemade muffins, fresh fruit hot/cold cereal/hard boiled eggs and more. ( like home).
We have been coming back every year for the past 6 years and appreciate the simple, timeless, charm and the care that is taken to make our stay memorable.

This was a really great place to stay. The muffins in the morning were great, coffee was available all day and the rooms were clean. It is not the most modern place, but it has charm. It is a short walk across the lawn to the beach and town is right down the street. I would 100% recommend you book and stay here.
