Your eye doctor will first determine your overall eye health and vision. This includes a discussion of your health history and then a series of standard eye tests. These tests will evaluate eye focusing, eye teaming, depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and the response of your pupils to light.

I'm ok if they have no more appointment slots available at the time but, why did they hang the phone up on me? That's rude! I was so eager to become a new customer here but if this is how you deal with prospect customers and patients, I don't want to find out how you treat your regular ones. You just lost me and my family, guys.

Loved my overall experience with Plano eye associates! I had Dr Nguyen and she was extremely nice and thorough. I did have to come back to get a different contact prescription only because my previous doctor gave me the wrong prescription. They got me in on the same day I called which was superb! We are working to get my eyes back to "normal". The place was modern and very clean.
The only con I can think of is the patient portal website. It definitely needs to be updated with user friendly features such as save username/password and does not scale down to perform on mobile devices. Definitely

We moved to Plano right before the 'Rona visited... so I'd put off going to the eye doctor. Now that things are back to somewhat normal, I needed to get that done. Dr. Widjaja had the first appointment, and I'm so glad she did. She was thorough in listening to my complicated history, and my concerns about my last pair of glasses, and worked to figure out what the issue was and how to resolve it with my new prescription. She also was able to fit me in contacts as an option other optometrists had told me wasn't an option for a couple of decades now. I was VERY happy with

Plano Eye Associates is awesome! Have never had to wait more than 5 minutes before being called back. The eye technician was super friendly and explained each test etc. I've seen Dr. Castleberry and just recently Dr. Widaja. Both are great. And big shout out to Erica in the optical! She spent a tremendous amount of time helping me select my frames. She was very patient and honest about which frames looked the best on me. Highly recommend this practice!

Best Eye Dr in Plano. And as long as they keep those heated toilet seats I'm never changing Dr.s. Seriously though I've been going here for six years most wonderful and helpful associates I've ever encountered. Always look forward to my yearly check up. Which is not something you hear very often regarding doctors visits.

Very unfriendly staff whom speak to you in a condescending manner, particularly the front desk staff and technicians. My assigned optometrist was also extremely unwelcoming. Worst experience I've had since being in Dallas - both with the customer service and contacts. And I thought America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses was bad....

We just moved to Dallas from Seattle and I needed a new eye doctor. Dr. Tran and his team were superb from start to finish. Dr. Tran presented me with different options and didn't try to push any one on me. Before going, I had anticipated just getting prescriptions for glasses and contacts, then figuring out where to get my frames. But I browsed the selection before my appointment and was happy to discover several I liked the look of. After my appointment I ended up buying one there. Nothing at all negative to report about the experience and I've encouraged my wife to try them out next

AMAZING!!!! My glasses broke and I am blind as a bat, I was freaking out! I came to PEA at 12pm, Dr Tran gave me an eye exam, got a new prescription and glasses all within the hour, I was out of there by 1:15. I was so incredibly impressed, they took care of me and made me feel special. Dr Tran was incredible, Becka in reception got all of my information and answered all my questions, and everyone else made me feel at home. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!... The staff from the moment I walked in were awesome. Now please note the frames are more on the high end side. They offer EVERY name brand you can think of. But for something you will wear every day, it's worth it. Reggie is truly the reason I will return each year. He is patient and honest. I love the personal care he showed me during the process. I was very reluctant to progress lenses, but he made the process a lot better to deal with. He helped me pick out the perfect frames for my face and budget. I can't say enough great things about

I have been going to Plano Eye Associates for over 20 years. The facility is very welcoming, comfortable and attractive. The wait time is very minimal; they function like a well-oiled machine. They are up on technology where you can schedule online or call if you prefer.
Dr. Castleberry is AWESOME. The entire staff at Plano Eye Associates is friendly and very professional. They are prompt and very thorough with the eye exams. Plano Eye Associates uses the latest technology for me that is very reassuring knowing that I am getting the best eye exam possible.

Attractive facility. Not so attractive staff. Was annoyed at the doctors reluctance to provide information on astigmatism. Front desk did not inquire if I wanted contacts or glasses and clearly explain benefit coverage.
Front desk was more than difficult when I requested a hard contact prescription.

I've been coming here for the past two years to get excellent eye exams and to purchase comfy, stylish, and reasonably priced eye-wear. And I get it ALL!
Dr. DeMaggio is friendly, professional, really knows her stuff, AND her patients. The Opticians (Reggie, Erica, Nina, and Cheyenne) are fantastic! They always know what I need (and like) better than I do, and they never try to sell me anything I don't need or would ever want. I like that I don't ever feel like I'm just a number there or someone to just sell to. I'm treated like a real person...someone they genuinely care

My first and LAST time here. My biggest complaint... The front desk gives you a sheet and tells you to pick which of two ways you want to have the retinal test: 1) dilation (no cost) 2) some other way without dilation (cost). She made it sound like it wasn't optional. She says "Pick which of the two to do" with NO explanation whatsoever. I went with the free one like anyone else would.
Ignorance on my part thought it was some standard process. I've never done a dilation before in my 10+ years and I'm only 30 so I was not even sure what it was. It may have been explained

Optical Store: one of the BEST! Went to LensCrafters and Visionworks - they are either short-staffed, arrogant and show no interest at all in their job. Also, those store will not match your maximum allowable in your insurance. For example, they only match up to 70% of your allowable.
On the other hand Plano Eye Associates not only match the full amount, they even give you 20% off the price difference (if it's more than your allowable). They are courteous, efficient and make sure you feel comfortable
