The death of a family member is a very difficult time in anyone's life. These articles will help you understand the grief you are feeling when someone in your family has died, and how you can honor the life of your departed family member. Many people plan for life events such as weddings and vacations well in advance, but not many plan for something that is certain to happen, their funeral.
Family and friends getting together to honor a loved one's life is one of the most important steps in the grieving and healing process. You may opt to have a traditional religious or military service, or as more and more people are doing, you can choose to have a non-traditional 'life celebration'.
Many people plan for life events such as weddings and vacations well in advance, but many people do not plan for something that is certain to happen, their funeral. While most people do not want to think about their own mortality, the time to pre-plan your funeral is now.

The primary advantages of pre-arranging your funeral is to relieve the burden on your loved ones in an already emotional time, and to ensure your funeral is carried out according to your wishes, eliminating the task of second-guessing what you would have wanted.Taking the time now to arrange your funeral is one less thing your loved ones will need to worry about once you've passed.

Skip and all employees at Demarco-Luis Home went totally out of there way, to make us feel comfortable at my father in law funeral. They had My father in law looking perfect. All the details were perfect, even calling the florist to make sure the arrangements were going to fit.
This is the second time we have used them. I personally recommend them.
Thank you Skip and staff for making a emotional day, bearable.

It was two years ago but they did an amazing job. My dear mom looked like she was peacefully just sleeping.

I came from South Carolina for a viewing for my aunt. I cannot believe the drama they allowed at the viewing. I am very disappointed.

I cannot describe the warmth and compassion provided by those running this funeral home. Although we had to drive two hours (round trip) a few times to make arrangements, I am so glad we did and I highly recommend this family-run business because of my (and my family's) experience.
My family had the incredible misfortune of having a different, local funeral home harass us with phone calls, pressuring us for our business throughout the very day we got the awful news of our loss. It created additional distress during such a difficult time for us. We knew we needed to look elsewhere.
