The Bar-B-Q Man Restaurant began serving Texas-Style Bar-B-Q in 1977 under the guidance of Malcolm DeShields Sr. Through the years our 2.4 acre facility has grown to include a full service restaurant, bar, a party area, and beautiful Cantina patio with lots of shade trees and picnic tables. All food is prepared on-premise and is supervised by the DeShields family in the same manner it was when food service first began in 1977.

Just call us with your order, or download our Order-To-Go Menu and fax it in. Your order will be ready for you to pick up in no time at all.
The Bar-B-Q Man offers catering services, complete with bar services, if desired, for both on-premise and off-premise events. We can tailor catering to meet the needs of groups from 2 to 2,000. From the intimate private rooms inside the Bar-B-Q Man Restaurant to the Cantina Patio Room and our outside Patio Area we offer great flexibility to meet the needs of your special event within our Bar-B-Q Man complex.
Sitting on 2.4 acres of land just off of Interstate 37 between Navigation and Up River Road, the Bar-B-Q Man Restaurant is roughly 4,000 square feet and can serve up to 175 people in the restaurant proper. The Oilfield Lounge inside the restaurant is a full service bar and we offer private rooms seating from 20-50 people and more.

We were greeting with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. My mom and I ordered brisket and ribs plate with potato and beans sides to go(as pictured- she got to her food before I could take a photo haha). We got the hoemmade sweet tea and LORD IS IT DELICIOUS. The meat was smoky and juicy. The sauce made it even better 😩. Enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE. 10/10 would recommend
