Thanks to all the parents who brought out their little cuties for our Drive Thru Halloween event. Staff were dressed in their Halloween finest to pass out treats to the dozens of trick or treaters! Fun was had by all! Ara's hosted a Halloween Party from 7pm -9pm for the Special Hearts in the Arts participants, providing food, music and fun! Participants in the Special Hearts program are intellectually disabled individuals.
Ara's Seafood & Steaks is the Southside's newest and most elegant Banquet venue. Our Banquet Room accommodates up to 125 guests, and is the ideal location for weddings, birthday, quinceneara or anniversary parties, bridal or baby showers, social events, and club or association meetings. The Banquet Room can be arranged theater style or with individual table arrangements to your preference.

We had a party of 5 that had a reservation for 7pm. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, with 2 other tables when we arrived. The food was okay, but our server made it seem like we were bothering him by being there. He brought us waters when we sat down and never offered or asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. We saw the huge bar as we were leaving and were surprised we weren't asked about any alcoholic drinks. We asked for decaf coffee later in the meal and he told us they were out. We asked to see the menu for dessert and we were given three options and told they don't make half the options

It's among the best restaurants in Corpus Christi. It's not the average "seafood and steaks" that the name implies. It's a very thoughtful menu with some unfamiliar flavors and exotic European flavors. The name is too plain for this little gem of a restaurant, I wish it was located downtown or on the water. It deserves that. Service was friendly and personable. I don't understand why there's a line out the door at the franchise restaurants when there's places like these.

Delicious! We had the Fusion platter which was an array of schnitzel, Hungarian Goulash, cabbage roll and more. The service was wonderful. We will definitely be going back.
The only suggestion I can make is a name change. Ara's Steak and Seafood is to generic for this place. Ara's Romania maybe? Our new favorite place for a lovely meal!

I was already in love with the food at Ara’s, but after booking my sons wedding there and eating off their banquet menu, I realized they are masters of their trade. The atmosphere at Ara’s is amazing, the staff… is very friendly and attentive. I give them a 5 star rating, and recommend them for weddings, meetings, brunch, and good eating.

Horrible service. My party had the incorrect food brought out, and the other waitress was being combative with us and belittling the other staff. Food was mediocre. I wouldn't return.

I was asked by the staff how I wanted it cooked and was confused by the question, and said medium rare. I was then informed later the chicken fried ribeye were only cooked one way and I agreed and understood that. I don’t know who your former chef is, and never asked or a comp. We paid for

Usually closed on a Monday, but with Monday Night Football starting up, surprised to see it opened! Bartender stated owner wanted to see if the football crowd would show up? Wife and were only guests upon arrival and we were treated like royalty: personal host, personal bartender, personal chefs! Appetizer arrived quick and tasty and steak arrived shortly there after. Cooked to order, thick-cut, tender, and great flavor.

My family and I dined here for the first time, last week. Our server was not very friendly. We asked her what she recommended and she replied with, “it’s whatever your preference is”. I had to text my friend to ask her what she recommended. The food was good but very overpriced. My husband got the surf and turf plate and the steak looked like the size of a cookie. Not worth the 30 dollar price tag. And then came the seven dollar chocolate cake that was so small it was hilarious. Very overpriced menu with very small portions. Do not recommend this place.

Wow! Pleasantly surprised...after seeing a near empty parking lot I was a little weary of the high reviews. If its so good how come nobody is here? Is my food going to be fresh? It was not only fresh but homemade and you can totally taste the difference in the dressing and cheesecake! They use pounded ribeye in their chicken fried steak that was so tender and delicious!

They didn’t open till 10 am but i waited for them to open. People were standing outside at other restaurants waiting to get in. I was only person at Ara’s for ten minutes and received 2 awesome bartenders/waiters. The mimosas were great and the Belgian waffle and crab cakes were awesome. I’ll definitely be going back!!

This place was okay. We visited around 6 pm. We were the only ones there during the whole time. The food was okay. The salmon, the special, was not worth the 29 dollars but oh well. The environment was great and our two servers were excellent. I loved their floors. Would I go there again, probably not.
