It's hard to find good quality trainers. You look at them on paper, and they meet the qualifications, but those qualifications have to come to life. The practical application is the challenge. I consider myself a fitness coach but market myself as a personal trainer for search engine optimization reasons.
Once you have determined that you want to become fit, you will want to begin your fitness routine. The way you get started will ultimately depend on your personal goals and your current level of fitness. Although most people think of classes and specific activities (such as jogging or tennis) as the way to fitness, there are many other variables in which you can work activity into your life.
Most client's find this option to be very attractive when compared to training with a trainer at a higher-end health club. Your personal training session can be done in the convenience of your own home or hotel in San Francisco or San Mateo County. During the first 30 days you will notice your cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance & strength rapidly increase as your body adapts from an untrained state.
I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M) as well as the National Strength and Conditioning Association (N.S.C.A), and obtained a certification in Cross Circuit Training. I use a model of training to regulate the intensity up or down depending on the needs of any committed individual, regardless of experience.

Most people need guidance and clear direction when developing these habits that will become a regular part of your life. I’ve been training with John for almost two years and am in the best shape of my life. I think John works really well for people like me who don’t want to be coddled and want to be pushed to do our best. John also has a great personality and it’s just fun to spend the morning with him.
The gym itself is really clean and well equipped. All the trainers are friendly and have a great rapport. Love working out here!

I was skeptical when my wife gave me personal training sessions; I had been exercising my whole life on my own. But John Fernandez is fantastic. He squeezes into 60 minutes a routine that makes you feel like you've worked out for 2 hours by keeping multiple muscle groups engaged in every exercise. He's very creative; even after many sessions, he continued introducing new routines every time we met. Our whole family has trained with him and for at least a year we were showing other family members ways to "engage your core". Great trainer!
