My name is Andy Shumway. I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and have deep roots in Arizona going back to the 1800s. I graduated from Westwood High School where I participated in the orchestra (trumpet) and sports (basketball). Our basketball team was State runner up my senior year. I received many awards and honors including Player of the Year for the State of Arizona and being recognized by Coach and Athlete Magazine as an All American.

Just a cleaning today always a great experience going to Shumway Dental Care. Doctor Shumway always evaluates my teeth unless we know where we are. Everyone is always so friendly nice and wonderful. Hands down the best dentist office I've ever been in. I may be biased because I've been coming here for 30 years. Great job I love you all.

It seems insane to get a filling, enjoy your visit, relax , pain free, no anxiety , and leave within 30 minutes happy with services provided. I have never had a dentist that puts me so at ease , all the while working in my mouth ohhh so gently.
From the office staff , front desk, scheduling , to every hygienist, I look forward to my 6 month check up.

I’m so happy I recently switched to Shumway Dental Care. I like to build relationships and I could not do that at my previous dental office of 5 or more years due to high turnover for dentists.
Shumway’s office is professional, clean, a friendly staff front and back. I recently needed 3 crowns and although the fee was a little higher than my previous dentist Dr. Joel Shumway had a great touch. Previous crowns done at my other dentist caused me months of discomfort (hot & cold sensitivity) but the 3 Dr Joel did had maybe 2 weeks of sensitivity.
I would highly recommend Shumway Dental. You

I would like to start off by saying not only is this the best Dentist office I've ever been to. EVERYONE in the entire office treat you not as a customer, but like family.
