Beacon Brook Health Center offers short-term rehabilitation, long-term, respite, hospice and dementia care. Our dedicated staff provides individualized care with compassion, dignity and respect. At our facility, you will find spacious private and semiprivate rooms, a well appointed dining area, comfortable lounges and a beautiful landscaped outdoor terrace.
At each of Athena's managed facilities, our professional caregivers are committed to providing an atmosphere that allows our long-term residents and short-term patients to meet their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs in a caring, homelike environment. Family members can rest assured that their loved one will be cared for with compassion and dignity.
Our short-term rehabilitation and post-hospital care includes orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation, to name a few. Our team also specialize in those with medically complex care, post-substance abuse treatment and traditional long-term skilled nursing care.
Our physical, occupational and speech therapists are graduates of accredited therapy programs and are state licensed. Some hold advanced Master's and Doctorate degrees in physical, occupational and speech therapy. In addition, several have advanced certifications, including lymphedema and manual therapy.

Terrible place I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy and I most certainly wouldn’t go here if it were the last place on earth! The aids were all rude and ignore family members and patients several occasions call light was on and wasn’t answered for an hour at a time there is a lot of neglect going on the staff just doesn’t care they ran out of meds and also gave too much at one point this place should be shut down I feel horrible for the patients here as they are treated so unkindly if there was a -1 rating I would have given that! Horrible and dirty place!

Well sad to say if i can give no stars I would, The place is very neglectful on how they treat their patients, they can't follow orders, everytime we talk to staff we get different answers. Don't know why they have call buttons, your better off calling the front desk from your phone to try and get a hold of them, they would sometimes make you wait up to 45 minutes (which happened several times). Dietary/Nutrition staff can't get any meals right. (1 star out of 5).

My mother stayed there for short term rehab, sad to say the place went down hill from the 1st time she was there, I would not recommend this place to anyone at all, the service is very poor, not to mention they can't follow orders, don't know why they have call buttons, if you love someone please don't send them here.
