Hawaii Eco Divers & Surf Adventures is an inbound tour company for Brazilians located on the island of Oahu. During the winter months, the North Shore of Oahu is the Mecca of surfing in the world, as huge waves surge through the Pacific Ocean and break high on the reef. In the summer time, however, these waters become a beautiful diving paradise! One place in particular is the Pupukea Marine Sanctuary, which extends for about a mile, and the diving is great!
Oahu's West Side is full of incredible dive sites. These sites offer a large variety of Hawaiian marine life, amazing rock formations, tropical blue water and white sand beaches. The sun always shines on the west side of Oahu, and Hawaii Eco Divers will always be willing to show you the best around that area.

I took Ricardo's Surf Survival / Apnea class and couldn't give it higher praises. What an amazing class! Ricardo is an excellent teacher who takes his role seriously and gives each student one on one attention throughout the two days. Going into the class I was already interested in breath-work, mind control, and surfing bigger waves. Now I have so many new tools to work with. Zoey was such an amazing dive master! We had booked our dives w/ Hawaii Eco divers several months in advance and Zoey worked with us and kept us updated to make sure we were able to dive at the time that worked for us. On the day of, she was super knowledgeable and helpful! She must be a marine life whisperer because before the dive she said we might see whales, turtles, and sea monks. We saw a huge humpback whale breach multiple times on the boat ride. We saw many turtles and even a sea monk during the dives. Zoey also truly lives up to the Hawaii eco name as she personally collected various rubbish

A good friend gave me this apnea and surf survival class as a gift. It's been amazing so far! (Two 8 hour days total) My daughter (who was a lifeguard) took a similar class that was NO WHERE near as good as this one! (I went with her) Ricardo, the instructor, is fantastic! He is encouraging and supportive. This class was designed for ocean safety and could literally make the difference between life and death. I highly recommend this class to anyone who spends time in the ocean. Make this investment into yourself!

Ricardo and his Apnea/Surf Survival course is no joke! Ricardo, has a lot of experience as a master diver and is a well respected big wave surfer on the North Shore. I was referred to him by a high source of the big wave surfing community and I'm happy that I took his course. He provides an in-depth perspective on Apnea breathing and surf survival to help give you the tools to help boost your confidence in the ocean.
His courses are not just for surfers but for anyone! In our class we had divers, beginner surfers and ocean goers along with experienced wave riders.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and our dive group was just me and my boyfriend so it felt like a private excursion. However dive one didn’t go great as the DM lost our position so we had a long surface swim back to the boat. It was an honest mistake but it wasn’t ideal. Besides that, only other complaint was the boat being a bit over crowded and cluttered. Overall we had a good time and it was worth the money.

Hawaii Eco Divers delivered! My wife and I went on our first shore dive with Hawaii Eco Divers at Electric Beach. The entire experience was awesome! Our DMs, Zoe and Mike, were super friendly and provided a lot of interesting tidbits about the area and wildlife. We saw turtles (including a huge one), eels, tons of fish and even a nudie couple (sea slugs, not people). 🤓The buddha was also cool! Can't wait to come back and dive with them again!

Great experience!! We had Adam as our D.M... quick and easy set up/tank exchange, knowledgeable tour of sharks cove, very casual experience. Our group had a number of different experience levels (all certified) and I felt no one felt intimated or held back. Awesome value....Will definitely book again on a future trip.

I did several dives with Hawaii Eco Divers when in O'ahu recently. One day was a boat dive out of Honolulu the others were a day and then a night dive off the North Shore.
The Divemasters were great. I was with Cam and Oxana for the boat and night dive. Eathan was in charge of the day shore dive.
All of them were prepared, knew the dives and were really supportive of everyone in the group no matter their skill level. It was a great experience.

I want to commend Echo divers on the quality of there instructors. I went diving with my grandson on Monday morning and we had Ethan as our instructor. I have some disabilities with my right leg which made the hike to the water challenging. Ethan carried my tanks and was very gracious. I never felt uncomfortable or that I was putting him out. He was a very safe and qualified diver. I will recommend Echo divers to my friends without any hesitation. We had an excellent dive.

Loved my experience with Hawaii Eco Divers! From the first time I called their office, every single person I spoke with was extremely nice and professional, and the dive itself at Shark's bay with Ricardo and Zoe was great as well!
They were able to squeeze me and my sister in last minute to their 1pm discover scuba dive since I am certified and my sister is not. They explained everything thoroughly before the dive to make sure the beginners felt comfortable and safe. Very disappointing experience. Dive master touching endangered green turtle! Driving yourself across the island.
I would advise divers to avoid this shop due to the experience my fiancé and I had with them last week. I would like it to be noted my fiancé and I are both dive masters and I have worked for dive shops in the past and what we experienced with this shop was not professional.

This past weekend I took the Apnea and Surf survival class in Pacifica, Ca. At first I was a bit hesitant because I have only taken two surf lessons and never really swim or go to the beach because the beaches in northern CA are quite cold. I also figured most people taking the class would be experienced surfers, so I was definitely intimidated.
I decided to call and spoke with Ricardo who reassured me that the class is for all levels and basically anyone who just wants to be safe in the water whether you're diving, surfing or just having fun in the water.

The Hawaii Eco Divers are wonderful people! Ricardo and team rocks!! My 13-yr old daughter and I dove with Ricardo. I'm NAUI certified, but she wasn't. Ricardo did an excellent job explaining the diving procedures, equipment, safety protocols, effects of diving on the body, expected conditions above and below water, and more. My daughter felt confident and prepared to take her first dive and I had confidence in Ricardo and his team's ability to ensure her safety. Both my daughter and I had a blast!

My son and I did our first discovery dive today and it was amazing. Excellent instruction and they made us feel very comfortable in the water. Ricardo and Nicole go out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience. The safety training was top-notch and we felt like we knew exactly what we were doing before we ever put our gear on. They put you through safety training in the water as well and make sure that you're comfortable with all procedures before going down. They are fantastic. Before our trip, we had to change our plans a few times and they were accommodating and patient. Then, on the day of our scheduled shore dives, Bryson took us out for one dive and then said that the second wouldn't be worth it due to a strong current and low visibility. He was able to fit us in on a boat dive the next day and took us on two more amazing dives. We really appreciated his judgment call and his concern with the quality of our dives. He truly wanted us to have fun and see the most sea life we could.

Had a great experience with Hawaii Eco Divers. The number on their site did not seem to work but after submitting a request on their site they quickly got back and had us booked in for a dive. Everything was easy and after a quick briefing we were in the water in no time. Sharks Cove is a great spot with tons on fish to to see, octopus, turtles, eels and more. Highly recommend. Staff was highly trained, professional and great to dive with.

What an incredible dive company! Ricardo, the owner, is always available and answers every question or concern you may have. Every dive instructor is kind, confident, and thorough. Ricardo has so many lovely dive spots picked out all around the island, depending on where and when conditions are best.
Learning how to dive can be scary and uncomfortable, but Ricardo and every instructor I've had made me feel so safe. They have been patient with me and my anxiety and very understanding of any difficulties the students face. I will come here for any certification I decide to get.
