Dr. Renee Laliberte has been practicing optometry since graduating with honors from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1997.
We are glad that you had an excellent exam but are very dismayed that you had a not so great experience picking out your eyewear. Due to a medical emergency with a family member, one of our opticians had to leave and the rest of the staff had to cover the last few hours of the night. This is not the "norm" in our office and we pride ourselves on a "top notch" patient experience.

Over the holidays, I dropped my glasses and the frame broke at the nose bridge. Norma contacted the manufacturer, found that they were still available and was able to get me new frames in a couple of days. I was notified they were in, stopped in and within minutes, she had the lenses swapped out and I was on my way. This is why we continue to use Main Street Optometry for our check ups and eyewear. Great customer service … Thank You !!!

If you are a senior citizen and you chose this place to receive a retinal scan because you and /or your primary care doctor need to know if type 2 diabetes is having an adverse affect on your vision, DO NOT GO HERE!!! They have the ability to do a retinal scan. What they will NOT DO is perform just the retinal scan. Twice in as many visits this business has performed a total eye exam when I purposely requested just the retinal scan. The last time I made absolutely clear I was there for just the requested service from my primary doctor. The last visit I stated 4 times all I wanted is to give the

Everything went completely smoothly from my first phone contact to when I picked up my new glasses. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the doctor was also knowledgeable and very nice. There are lots of frames to choose from and the staff who help with the process are wonderful. All in all a great experience.

My child got something in her eye that we couldn't flush out on our own. The optometrist promptly called me back before the office even opened to advise when and where they could get us in to be seen. We ended up being seen very quickly at the Dexter location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which helped my daughter remain calm the entire time. I could not have asked for a better experience!
