Advanced Medical Group is a team of professionals including Dr. Michael Zona and Dr. Marek Dvorak who work together to promote the physical, emotional, and vocational well-being of each patient. We provide a wide variety of specialty psychiatric services to our patients. Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the study and treatment of mental disorders.
Outpatient treatment is office-based visitations. All consultations begin with a two hour evaluation. Follow-up outpatient treatment is generally done monthly. A more specific treatment plan will be worked out between you and your physician based upon the findings and your own individual needs. Follow-up outpatient sessions are a full one hour.
Key symptoms of ADHD include a short attention span, difficulty concentrating, impulsivity, distractibility, excitability, and hyperactivity. Hyperactivity is defined subjectively as an increase in motor activity to a level that interferes with the child's functioning at school, at home, or socially.
This psychiatrist is the most exceptional doctor I could ever find. Believe me, I have seen several in the Boulder area who have done more harm than good. Dr. Zona is caring, compassionate, and he is literally a genius with meds. He has pulled me out of psychosis when I thought all hope was lost. I'm so lucky to have found him and I promise you that if you take a chance on him, it will be worth it.
