Dr. Wenokor has been practicing Psychiatry in the Boulder Area for over 25 years. He specializes in a wide variety of behavioral health issues including, but not limited to, Mood Disorders, Major Depression. Anxiety Disorders and ADHD. In addition to being Board Certified in Psychiatry, Dr. Wenokor is also certified in Sleep Medicine, treating disorders such as insomnia, circadian rhythms, narcolepsy, etc.
He has extensive history in working with families and extended support systems. He strives to help his patients achieve a functional and fulfilling life. Patients who come to see Dr. Wenokor will undergo a comprehensive Evaluation, usually lasting 60 to 80 minutes, to determine which problems may affect them.

Dr. Wenokor graduated from Medical School at SUNY and completed his psychiatric residency at New York University (NYU)/ Bellevue Hospital in 1989. After finishing his training he moved to Colorado where he has been practicing since. In addition to being board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, he also is Board certified in Sleep Medicine.

He's an excellent Psychiatrist who found out my mental health combination and figured out I have sleep apnea. I've been to psychiatrists before who have gotten their diagnoses wrong over and over, and he just figured it out with pretty sound reasoning. Not sure why the other reviews are bad, he's been very accommodating, and the office staff is very kind and helpful.

Worst excuse for a psychiatrist I've ever seen. I had an appointment on January 28th, I called to cancel that appointment because I had a dental emergency. I tried calling for a couple days prior to the appointment, but Dr. Wenokor was out of office for about a week, NOT RETURNING PHONE CALLS.
When I called today to reschedule the appointment, they told me WE MISSED our appointment and we would have to pay a missed appoinment fee. I said, "No, I called you and spoke with you directly about this and cancelled it that day." The secretary tells me Dr. Wenokor will call me back and hangs up.

Rather baffled by the other reviews, which largely sound as though people are lashing out for scheduling and personality conflicts. Kinda feels like we're talking about a totally different practice. /shrug
Either way, I've had nothing but good experiences with him. About the worst thing I could say is that sometimes it takes a bit to get a call back, but that's because he books up pretty quickly. Very happy with him and his office.
