Mongiovi Orthodontics

Mongiovi Orthodontics has been a part of the local community since 2003. Our office provides a fun, family friendly environment. We have a small staff which is cross-trained in all clinical and administrative responsibilities. We all work hard to know you personally and genuinely strive to make your experience positive and happy.

Dr. Mongiovi was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Hempfield High School in Landisville, PA and Villanova University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Tatum has been a part of the Mongiovi Team since the very beginning. She was hired as Dr. Mongiovi's assistant back in 2005 and has never looked back.

Both our boys, Andrew and Michael, have been patients of Dr. Mongiovi and both experiences have been great! We could not be more pleased with the outcome of how their teeth (and smiles) look. Both Michael and Andrew often receive comments about how nice their teeth look. Everyone who works at Dr. Mongiovi's office is pleasant and so professional.

Mongiovi Orthodontics provides orthodontic services for children, teens and adults. We strive to provide the highest standard of care at all stages of orthodontic treatment. We will establish a treatment plan that is tailored to the needs of the patient. We have early treatment options that address growth and development concerns as well as traditional metal and clear braces.

In the past, the common philosophy was to wait until your teenager lost all of his or her baby teeth before seeking orthodontic treatment. Although one can certainly be treated at that point, early detection of orthodontic problems can lead to easier, more conservative correction.

Today, the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children receive an orthodontic evaluation at the first sign of an orthodontic problem or by the age of 7.Not all children need to be treated at this early age, but an examination can anticipate the most advantageous time to begin treatment.
