Jennifer has been designing for over 30 years, and has had the priviledge of being part of more than 1,000 weddings and special events. Having served on various committees and boards both in and out of the industry, she loves working with people to create the perfect design, which is why she made the change from large store management to her own family run business.
She is a member of the Illinois State Floral Association, as well as an accredited and certified designer from the American Institute of Floral Designs. Megan's design career started at the tender age of 10, as an assistant in a family friends flowershop. Over the past 25 years, she has elevated her design skills by serving as a lead event designer for multiple businesses.

We offer FREE consultations with an event planner to go over your visions and budget to create the perfect floral experience for your event. Choose from three packages for weddings to help simplify your planning, or we can work with you to develop a custom service plan. Plan includes setup of all floral decor at your ceremony and reception, personal flower assistance, and assistance with the Bride's Entrance to the ceremony.

Excellent customer service! You guys made 2corsages for us last minute order! My daughter didn’t like some of the flowers that were in her(I thought it was beautiful) but you guys made it right! No questions… asked and made us feel like it was no problem! They turned out beautifully! She loved it and we will definitely be back to you guys for all of our future floral needs! 10 star service!

The team here did a SPECTACULAR job!! They were so helpful in picking out inspo ideas and flowers since I had no clue what I wanted. They are reliable and creative with their work and did an amazing job the day of. The flowers were fresh and beautiful and the flowers exceeded any of my expectations for the ceremony and reception. The arch was amazing and the repurposed the flowers for the ceremony so creatively. I am so happy I chose them for my florist needs

Jennifer was very helpful and easy to work with when I placed my phone order for a floral arrangement for my mom, who's in the hospital. This was especially wonderful since I live in Vancouver, WA - 2,000 miles away! She even texted me a picture of the arrangement after it arrived at the hospital reception desk, which arrived very quickly from the time of the order! I'd refer this business anytime!!!

Jennifer does an incredible job. I got married on 5-15-2020. Due to the pandemic we had some last minute changes and she was more than professional and accommodating. She kept in contact while her store wasn’t allowed to be open and reassured me that she would still be able to fill my order. I gave her minimal direction on what we were looking for, and she exceeded expectations. JH events and flowers should be your first choice for anything floral!

I used jh Events & Flowers for my wedding reception & ceremony & they were fantastic! We called them a little over a month from the wedding & they got us in the very next morning to go over what we wanted. Jennifer was so accommodating, even when I ran into her at hobby lobby the week of the wedding! She made great recommendations during planning, was conscience of budget, and a pleasure to talk with! Beautiful arrangements are created by a talented designer. I have loved everything I have gotten from Jh Events and they always meet my budget, design and occasion specifications. She was easy to work with, pricing is affordable and delivery and set up went flawlessly! I absolutely LOVE my bridal bouquet, Jen hit it out of the park capturing exactly what I was imagining!
