We just bought our 4th mattress from them and each experience has been great. John and Susie are knowledgeable and never pressure you. When we wanted to try a softer mattress from one they had in the showroom, they even called around to find someone in the area that had that mattress so we could test it.
We returned and bought the mattress, looking forward to sleeping in the new bed.
I would hope all local residents give them a shot, much better experience than any chain store I've been in before.

I'm picking up my father from assisted living tomorrow to spend a couple of nights with us for Christmas. He can't go up and down stairs and I planned on bringing a full mattress down from one of the beds upstairs for him to sleep on. Due to procrastinating and poor planning on my part, earlier today I realized that plan wasn't going to work because the beds upstairs are platform beds with no boxspring and the frame I had to use downstairs needed a boxspring. We purchased a king mattress from Mt Airy Mattress about 2 months ago. We were impressed from the moment we walked in the door. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and owners. We shopped and tested mattress for about 2 hours and not at any time did we feel like we were being rushed or taking up too much of their time. A king mattress is quite the investment and we wanted to be sure we picked the one the suited us best. Along with the mattress, we were able to test out the pillows they sell. First time ever that I'm truly happy with a pillow. They also donate to a charity of your choice

I have not bought a mattress in a very long time, but needed a good one at a good price. I found that at Mt. Airy Mattress.
Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable about the product and explained everything so well that I felt right at home in the store.
I just needed a mattress and not a box spring and that was no problem.
I got the service, price and the mattress that I wanted what a great day.

We've bought three mattresses here over the years and keep coming back. They may not carry all of the brands that some of the bigger chains do, but they take a lot of time to make sure you leave with the right mattress for the best night's sleep. They know their products, and they aren't high pressure.

This is the best establishment around. The beds are VERY comfortable, high quality, and reasonably priced. I LOVE my new mattress! What sets this store apart from every other mattress store is the customer service offered in this small, locally owned business. This is not just a franchise, and the service you receive reflects that..and the prices are LESS than the chains!
