Doreen's Pizzeria is a pizza restaurant with Delivery, Carry-Out, and Catering options. Our first pizza restaurant opened in 1986 in the Hegewisch neighborhood on the south side of Chicago. Now with a second pizza restaurant located in Dyer, IN, we're happy to bring you a wide variety of delicious pizza and food.

A delicious double crust with your choice of 7 mouth watering ingredients for the price of 5. Made with Ranch Dressing, Mozzarella Cheese, Sausage, Bacon Bits, Canadian Bacon, topped with Red Onions and Tomatoes. Made with Doreen's Special Barbecue Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Grilled Chicken Breast topped with Red Onions and Tomatoes.
With our first shop opening in Chicago in 1986, we take a lot of pride in our Windy City Roots. Chicago will always be our home. I don't know about you, but my mouth is watering from this picture. We take pride in our ingredients and catering unique, non-generic pizzas. Doreen's uses premium low fat mozzarella cheese (no cheap imitation cheese) and is low in cholesterol.

I am alittle picky about pizza and a friend told me that Doreens has good pizza. We live right down the street from them so we tried them. I was not disappointed at all. It has alot of flavor and the crust is always perfect for me. Crunchy but not hard.. Their pizza has the right amount of cheese and sauce. My favorite pizza place in the area so far. The staff has always been friendly as well.

Very bad experience with an unprofessional manager. Message to the owner: if you care about your business, please address how your general manager treats your loyal customers. I grew up in Hegewisch and later moved to Dyer. I would tell people how nice it was to be able to order from my childhood pizza place. On Saturday, November 27, I ordered pizza for my family gathering, my brother found a long strand of hair melted in the cheese of 3 slices. We called and spoke to the general manager who was not apologetic. She said we needed to return the pizza for a refund and we were willing to do that

UPDATE:. While at the time this was such an inconvenience, I must say that I was touched and impressed to be contacted by the owner. He was very compassionate and friendly. I will continue to visit Doreen's, as I have been a fan of their food since I was a kid. Thank you for reaching out and caring about your customers!

Order a 12" pizza for lunch. Told it would take 25-30min. I feel it should be no longer than 15min for a inside or carry-out order. I've worked at a pizza shop some years ago, I know how long it takes to make & bake a pizza. Pizza was good, although the cheese could go out to the edge to cover all of the sauce. Place was clean. One person was waiting for their order when I arrived. 2 more came in for take out orders & a family came in for a sit down as I was finishing mine. Heard a few phone orders called in while I was there. Good study flow of business coming in.

Don't order online!! Showed up 25 minutes after ordering pizza, for what was supposed to be a 30 minute time until ready. They didn't even start to make my pizzas yet. Was told I should have called. I got a better answer, don't offer online ordering if you can't handle it.
They did their best to hurry my order up. I hope they can fix their disconnect from online vs reality.

I have decided to dine in, and oder non pizza item and the experience was just average. I have ordered Italian beef, curly fries and regular fries with drinks. The order came and the regular fries were missing. The table was dirty and we had to ask an employee to wipe the table.The taste of beef sandwich was just average, not very hot, with not much flavor, but the fries were good, hot and crunchy. During the visit Noone really checked on us, which I might be able to understand because most of the business is take out.

Pizza is excellent along with the wings!! Great combo for my son's birthday dinner!! I ordered a family pizza on a Saturday, and all the toppings were fresh and all portioned right with it looking super appetizing! Wings were boneless with buffalo on the side were great not dry but very juicy!! The only issue I worry about is that there are young children running around in the back which scares my heart something can happen very unprofessional but everything else is good!!

Waited 1 and 1/2 hours for pizza and got burnt pizza. Called back and they said it would be over 1 hour to get new pizza.
Manager did not offer any thing in return. Just wanted the pizza back, To refund my money. Horrible customer service. Not really offering to fix it or make it a priority to get us new pizza. Manager names was Jessica. She said the owner " will call me back at sometime", but don't expect him to call you back tomorrow.
Owner called us the same day and apologized and offered us a credit to make this right.
Our family ordered again. And everything was great.
